Oh my goodness....I'm so embarrassed!

I'm wayyyyy late posting my Guest DT card for this week's 

Stella Says Sketch Challenge #309

I just plain forgot. How bad is that??

I guess my only excuse is that I'm not used to posting

a card on Sunday since most of my DT posts are on Wednesday

and Saturday (except for New Releases).  Well....

that and I did just turn 50 so my memory just ain't what it used to be!

So... let's get to showing you the newest sketch

and my card using it with "Gus Fish Whisperer" 

Ack.... don't you just LOVE Gus??!
He's so crabby and cute at the same time.
This particular image makes me think of my father-in-law Walter.

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #278 - "Baby Shower" and My Time to Craft #290 - "Baby"

Hello sweet friends and happy weekend to you! 

Today I have a DT card to share with you that I made

for Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #278  and 

My Time to Craft Challenge #290

Both of these challenges have a theme of "BABY" this week

so it worked out perfectly to make one card for both challenges.

Did you see that Princess Kate had a baby girl!!!!
I'm so happy for them and was hoping it was a girl :o)

I LOVE to make baby cards but unfortunately not many of
my friends are in the new baby making phase of their lives
anymore.  I still enjoy making the cards though cause you
never know when a co worker might need one - or a friend
becomes a grandma. Here's my card :o)

This card is a CASE of a card from Delphine from Delphine's Place.
As soon as I saw it I knew I would be CASING it at some point.
Here's Delphine's card:


The main image is a stamp called "Diana" and that wonderful
sentiment is from a stamp set called "Words of Inspiration".
Both sets are from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, where Kimmie has posted
a HUGE, awesome SALE for (Inter)National Scrapbook Day!
In fact....."Words of Inspiration" is in this sale.
Did I mention it's BIG?? But it's only for this weekend.

Catch the Bug Challenges - May "Anything Goes"

Hello!  Welcome to my blog if you haven't been here before.

And howdy and thanks for visiting today to all my wonderful

friends and followers.  Today is the start of a new weekly challenge

at Catch the Bug Challenges. This first one of the new month

is "Anything Goes".  That's my favorite one as there are soooooo

many possibilities with all the fun Bugaboo digis to use.

Here's my Guest DT card for this week:

Eeek - isn't she adorable?  This is an image called

 Lil Princess 1. There are lots and lots of images right now 

in the Bugaboo Shop that are retiring and are on SALE

for 75% off!!! This little cutie pie is one of those images.

Soooo glad I got her before she disappears! 

I used some of my new Simple Stories Enchanted papers

(I've been on kind of a fairy tale kick since getting this paper pad)

and the layout from MOJO Monday #395 to make this card.

Sketch Saturday #359 - A Day for Daisies {Dreams Do Come True}

Happy weekend friends.

My my my how time is just marching right along - 

already the start of a new month - wow!

It's time for another great sketch challenge from 

SKETCH SATURDAY

this week with our sketch - check out what I did 

using the beautiful image called "Dreams Do Come True"

Isn't she lovely.  It might be a bit hard to see but I added a bit

of glimmer on her shoe with my Wink of Stella pen.  

I'm really tickled with how this turned out!
