Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #43 - Color Challenge (Whoopsi Daisy Sponsor)

Hello dear friends and blog followers.  Here we are in a new month and a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More (Challenge #43).  The Design Team at has a color challenge for you this week.  I love these colors together, but  I'll be the first to admit that I usually REALLY struggle with color challenges that have more than two to work with at a time.  I just seem to have a hard time getting all the colors on the card and still look "balanced".  But this week I am so pleased with how my efforts turned out... take a look:
 The sponsor for this week's challenge at ATS&M is Whoopsi Daisy.  I colored this darling Whoopsi Daisy image with my Stampin Write markers using Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie. The birds are colored with a copic marker (B06) that is surprisingly like the Pacific point (which is what I have sponged around the edges of the card layers).  I left the leaves un-colored because I wanted to stick to just the three colors of the challenge.  I ran the colored image through my Big Shot machine using the Labels framelit dies and then popped up the middle of the image.  Here's a look from the side.

The PP layers is a piece of retired DSP that I stamped the flowers (from "Your are Loved") on with Melon Mambo ink.  I was having so much fun stamping those flowers on the outside that I just kept going on the inside too.  I'm really loving the look of the pink stamped on the orange.

I hope that you will decide to join us this week at Addicted to Stamps and More for the color challenge.  If you don't have these exact colors - don't fret, just use three that are very similar to them.  The rest of the DT has prepared some gorgeous cards for your inspiration.  We also have two new DT members that we are excited to welcome to the team.  To visit our DT and enter your card in our challenge all you  have to is click  here and it will magically take you to the challenge site.  I can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me - I'm sure glad that you did. Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

ABC Challenges - Mother's Day, Dynamic Duos #50 and The Corrosive Challenge Blog #173 - Mother's Day

Happy Monday dear friends and followers! Hope each and every one of you is having a most wonderful day (or week if you are popping in later).  The challenge this week at ABC Challenges is to make a Mother's Day card (or a card honoring Mothers).  This could be for a Mother-to-be, your own Mom, your Mother-in-law, your sister, your best friend... you get the idea.  This is the first time I've used the Stippled Blossoms stamp set and I love the results.  I even put a few more blooms on the inside - take a look:
As you can see I was really having a hard time getting the lighting just right at this time of day for the colors to show up correctly.  Here's another view with the sentiment.

I did the slightest bit of distressing on the sentiment and sponging across the embossed panel on the front and around the edges of the circles and the inside corners of the DSP as my Mom isn't really big on this style but it felt too flat to me without it. The finished size of my card is 5 1/2 square.

I used the colors from the Dynamic Duos (DD#50) Challenge this week (see below) and the sketch from the
Flutterby Wednesdays Challenge  below (note: I'm not entering there because I didn't use a butterfly or fairy on this card - but I loved the sketch and wanted to give credit).  My colors like a bit orange in the photos but they are the Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride combo.  I am also entering my card in a challenge that I stumbled upon while perusing a wonderful blog by Kathy which is The Corrosive Challenge Blog #173 - Mother's Day.

I sure hope you will join us this week at ABC Challenges and share your Mother's Day cards with us. For challenge rules and to see the rest of the fabulous cards that the DT members have made all you have to do is click here and you will magically be there.  Thanks so much for stopping by today - I'm sure glad that you did. Til next time...hugs and happy crafting.  D

FMS83 used for Crafty Card Gals group exchange

Hello again! It's very unusual for me to have the opportunity lately to post a couple times in a row in one day - whoo hoo. Yesterday I was able to spend a little time power creating (that translates to I was really behind and had about an hour to make three cards).  I made this card  for a monthly card exchange that I do with several of my friends.  We call our group the Crafty Card Gals.  Each month we issue a different challenge and then make cards to exchange the following month. This past month we each brought 4 different pieces of paper to exchange.  The recipient had return the following month (April) with a card or project that we had made using those papers with the additional challenge element that at least one of those papers needed to be made into a shape that was different from the shape of your card.  I got my papers from Lois who decided to add a piece of yellow to all those other patterns and colors (the umbrella is one, the sky is another and the green notebook looking piece is the last). For some reason that yellow really threw me and I struggled with how I was going to make it "fit" since it didn't match the others.  So when stumped, I usually turn to a sketch to help me have an initial framework to get me started.  I liked the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches (FMS83) and decided to give it a go (see below).
Thank goodness for sketches! I know some people aren't crazy about them but I know they really help me a lot.  I decided to keep the yellow as an accent piece and I like how it turned out.

Lois didn't get to see this as she wasn't able to come this month - but I know she reads my blog so..."What do you think Lois"?  :o)

Well time to run downstairs and change the laundry (that's my main chore today).  I won't embarrass myself by telling you how many loads I need to get done today (last weekend I didn't get to it) but I can tell you its a LOT! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today - I'm sure glad that you did.

Until next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

MOJO290 {Happy Birthday Cindi}

Hello dear friends and followers! I'm so excited to see that I have a few new followers! Welcome and thanks for being here with me.  Well,  here it is Sunday already.  That means, of course, that Monday is just right around the corner so today I'm doing laundry and balancing the checkbook and paying bills and getting ready for the start of a new work week.  Not so much fun but it must be done.  Yesterday I had the chance to make a card for my friend Cindi's birthday tomorrow  using the MOJO Monday sketch #290 (see below).

A while back Cindi had given me the most beautiful card using some of her pressed flowers.  She was kind enough to share a few extras with me also and I knew at the time I was going to return the favor to make her a card too.  Here's a close up of the flowers (aren't they delicate and lovely).
Here's another view that shows the plastic tiles a little better. I used some retired Lovely Lilac cardstock for the base of my card along with Gumball Green and Daffodil Delight.  I just realized how cool it is that two of the colors are also flower related :o).  I sponged a little of the gumball green around the edges and across the embossing and gave it just a couple spritzes with my spritzer and the lovely lilac marker (can hardly see this in the photo).

Well duties call so I better get going for now. Thanks so much for stopping by - I'm sure glad that you did. Until next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

52CCT - Embellishment Challenge #16 {Punch Art}

Hello dear blog friends and followers - happy weekend to you!  The challenge this week at 52CCT is an Embellishment Challenge - specifically we want to see you use punched art on your Christmas cards.  I personally love to use punches - I think I'm a bit addicted to them really :o) Here's my card:
I used the following punches to make this darling little elf:
Face - ornament punch. Ears - wing from the 2-Step Bird punch. Hat - Ornament punch, modern label punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack (top of hat). Eyes and nose - Owl punch.

Cute huh?! Sorry that I didn't take pics of all the pieces - but I bet you can figure out how to make this if you wanted now that you know which punches I used.  The hat is just the top half of the ornament punch.

I can't wait to see what you come up with this week using punched pieces on your card.  The other ladies on the DT have come up with some awesome inspiration for you as well - please pop on over to 52CCT and visit them.

Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

ATS&M #42 - Make Your Mark

Hello friends and followers - so nice to have you visit me today.  Time for one of my favorite challenges at Addicted to Stamps and More - #42 - Make Your Mark.  I love this challenge because it gives me a chance to pull out my markers and color to my heart's content.  This week I used another darling digital image from Heather Ellis who is the sponsor for ATS&M this month.  We still have snow here in Montana so I decided to go with a very cheery color scheme to perk up my mood.  I've used some retired SU papers from my stash called Cheerful Treat (2011/2012) and a couple newer Sizzlit framelits die cuts (Labels) to make my card. The green cardstock is called Gumball Green - it's one of my favorite greens.

I apologize for the rubbish photo this week - both my cameras ran out of charge at the same time (do you think I could find my charging cords - no!) and my phone just refused to take a decent pic until about the 10th try (this one is still a bit out of focus).  I know better than to wait until the last minute to get my cards done and the photos taken - but yet again here I was rushing at the last minute and swearing like a sailor (yes, I'm embarrassed to say that I do do that on occasion) as I was trying to figure out how to get my card in in time.  Does anyone have a magic PAUSE button that I can borrow for when life seems to be moving faster than I have the energy for?  If so... please let me know - I'll be indebted to you forever LOL.  Too much stuff that has to be done and not enough time for the fun stuff - like paper crafting and card making. What's up with that anyway??? I'm sure that I'm not the only one who suffers from this ailment :o)  Finish this sentence... "You know that you are obsessed with Papercrafting when..."  I could come up with a whole bunch of sentence enders - LOL.

Ok, so let's get back to the challenge at hand before I drive you bonkers with my complaining.  Won't you please pop on over and see the fabulous creations the rest of the ATS&M design team has come up with for your delight and inspiration?  I hope your life isn't moving too fast to allow you to join us this week 'cause I can't wait to see what you make and share with us.  Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

Seize the Birthday (STB#14) - Sweet 13th

Today is my precious daughter's 13th birthday.  It is such a happy and sad day for me as my baby is now a teenager.  How does the time go by so fast? How did she go from being a chubby cheeked cherub with curly, light blond hair and big blue eyes to a stunning young lady who is nearly two inches taller than me already?  How very blessed I've been to experience the miracle that is my little girl.  When I was little and behaving badly (hard to believe I know) my mom would say "I hope you have a little girl just like you some day!"  Well...I'm happy to say that I did :o) My girl may not look like me but she is definitely my daughter   with her fierce independence, big booming laughter and sweet caring heart :o). Oh... and she can be a bit naughty sometimes too - but I still love her soooo much!

My sweet girl has a passion for cupcakes - so of course her birthday card needs to reflect that for her as well. She says when she grows up she wants to have a bakery - one that specializes in cupcakes of all kinds.  We've had some interesting experiments in the past couple of years. Some really delicious and some....well... not so much :o)

I used the sketch from Seize the Birthday to make this card (see below):

In a continued effort to use up some of my designer paper stash, I've used some retired SU papers.  I also had a whole sheet of these cupcake stickers that I had bought to use on a scrapbook page ages ago. Decided to use some of them in place of the stars in the sketch since they haven't made their way unto a scrapbook page yet.

Thanks for stopping by today to visit me - I'm sure glad that you did. Til next time.... hugs and happy crafting!

ABC Challenges - Recycled, CCC34- Handmade flowers and C4C182 -Sketch Time

Hello dear friends and blog followers - Happy Monday!  Was your weekend as wild of a ride as mine was?  I'm telling you I just don't understand how the weekends go by so fast!   It's like someone has a "warp speed" button that gets pressed as a joke just to see if I can keep up - lol.  Anyway I was so exhausted Sunday that I was literally in SLO MO mode, the only thing I was able to manage was getting caught up on two of my DT cards for this week and one extra for fun.  So really no complaining - except that I realized quite late in the evening that I had neglected to do laundry and had nothing to wear for work today. Geeze I wish we could wear sweats to work - that would be awesome :o)

So enough about my weekend... let's get on the reason for my card today.  The challenge this week at ABC Challenges is "Recycle" in honor of Earth Day today.  We want to see your cards using something you've recycled in some way on them.  The flower on my card is punched from a used (rinsed and dried) coffee filter.  Most of the color washed out with the rinsing of the filter but it still left a lovely aged look to it.  I used the Blossom and Small Scallop circle punches to make my layered flower.  I'm really pleased with how this flower turned out and can easily see myself saving more of my used coffee filters to make more (it doesn't even smell like coffee - although that wouldn't be so bad since I LOVE coffee).

The rest of the DT over at ABC Challenges have come up with some amazing uses for other recycled products and materials - please pop on over and visit them to see what they've prepared for your inspiration.  Can't wait to see what you come up with this week - so go get craftin:!

I'm also entering my card in Crazy 4 Challenges C4C182 - Sketch Time (see below) and Creative Card Crew CCC34 - Handmade Flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by - I'm sure glad that you did! Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

Freshly Made Sketches #82 and CCC34 - Handmade Flowers.

Hello dear friends and followers!  Tonight I have a card to share with you that I made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #82.  The sketch this week grabbed my attention and I just had to play along.  I made my flower from a used coffee filter (rinsed out and dried) and two sizes of the Scallop circle punch (regular and small).  I was able to make two flowers (one larger and this one) from one filter.  I used my color spritzer tool to add splashes and sprays to the card.  Colors used are from Stampin' Up!:  Red Riding Hood (soon to retire) Crumb Cake and Summer Starfruit.  I wasn't sure if I would like this combo but I already had this embossed panel and ric rac strips sitting on my desk so I thought I'd give it a go.  I like how it turned out.  A pretty quick card to make thanks to the great sketch that inspired me (see below).  I am also entering this card in the Creative Card Crew Challenge #34 - Handmade Flowers.
Gonna make this a short and sweet post tonight as tomorrow is my hubby and daughter's birthdays and I still need to make their cards.  Nothing like waiting til the last minute - I'm beginning to think that I only operate well under pressure lately :o)

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

52CCT - Theme Challenge #16 {Here Comes Santa Clause}

Ho Ho Ho - hello to all of you!  I love this week's challenge at 52CCT - its a theme challenge and the theme is Santa Claus.  I don't care how old I get, I will always believe in Santa - just ask my kids :o)
I made a Santa card with no stamping and all die cuts and punches - take a look:
So I'v got to give credit to a gal by the name of Karen Angel who came up with this idea that I have CASEd (I don't remember where I saw it or her blog address but I had written down her name when I came across it a while ago).  I used the top note Sizzix die for Santa's face and hat. The mustache is two birds from the 2-Step Bird punch.  The texture for the beard and mustache comes from the Manhattan Flower texture folder. The nose is the small oval punch and the eyes are from the Owl Punch.  I hand shaped the hat band and then textured with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  I used a negative piece from another punched shape to layer my Santa face over.  I like how it turned out - hope you do too :o)

Please go see what the other DT members from 52CCT have made for your inspiration.  I can't wait to see what you come up with this week for our Santa Clause theme challenge at 52CCT!  It's so much fun being a member of this DT and making a card each week toward my stash - but it's even more fun getting to visit your blogs and gaining inspiration from each of you as well.  Thank You!

Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

ATS&M Challenge #41 - Anything Goes

Hello dear friends and blog followers - so happy that you've stopped by to visit me today!  This week at Addicted to Stamps and More we have the ever popular ATS&M Anything Goes - Challenge #41.  I've chosen to use a darling digital image (colored with copic markers) by the challenge sponsor this week Heather Ellis.  My card is made using a negative image of a die cut as a frame for the sentiment.  I added some dry embossing around the "frame" using the cloud texture folder (SU) and embossed the sentiment in black.  I fussy cut around the image and popped her up with dimensions.   I really please with how this turned out, but for the life of me can't figure out why my sentiment in the photo looks so fuzzy! It doesn't look like that in real life. Must be the way the camera focused?!?

This card is going to a dear lady who stayed with our dogs recently while we were out of town.  I just hate to leave my "babies" at the kennel and am so grateful to have people who love animals (and are trustworthy) that are willing to dog sit for us.  She even ran the dishwasher and put away some of the dishes for us - wow!  I'd tell you her name but I don't want to share her ;o)  Here's a peek at the inside:
The card base is TangerineTango but you can't tell that from the front as it was already 5 1/4" by 5 1/2" in size and I didn't want to cut up a 12x12 piece of cardstock for some of the orange to show around the outside border.  I think it's a nice colorful surprise to see the orange inside (also ties into the butterflies on the front).

The other ladies over at ATS&M have prepared some wonderful creations for your inspiration this week as well.  I hope you will go visit them and then decide to play along with us this week.  Heather is offering a fabulous prize to our Top Honor and you can't win if you don't enter :o)

Gotta run for now... til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

ABC Challenges - 1, 2, 3 Challenge

Hello friends and followers - hope you had a wonderful weekend.  A special hello to my newest follower - so glad to have you along!  Monday's are my most and least favorite day of the week - if that makes sense :o)  My least favorite because the weekend is now done and its back to work (how come the weekends go by soooo fast) and my most favorite day because its the start of another weekly challenge at ABC Challenges!  That's right - I heard you say "Whoot Whoot" - you know you love it too :o)  The week the challenge is called 1 - 2 - 3.  That means we want to see our cards that you make using 1 of something and 2 of something and 3 of something.  That something can be...well, anything :o) - just make sure that each of your "somethings" are different.  Hopefully that made sense - lol.  So my card uses the following: 1 punched shape (small oval), 2 pieces of designer series paper (in two colors) and 3 pearls.  Easy peasy right?!

I colored this darling digital image (Heather Ellis) using my copic markers.  I added the polka dots to the girl's dress after I colored it and I like the extra texture appeal of it.

Hope you will decide to join us at ABC Challenges and share your beautiful cards using our 1-2-3 challenge this week.  Our fabulous DT has made some wonderful cards for your inspiration - you can visit them and join the challenge here.

52CCT - Color Challenge #16 {Navy, Light Blue and White}

Hello and happy weekend everyone!  Time for another great challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.  This week we have a color challenge for you using some great non-traditional colors - Navy, Light Blue and White.  You can use neutrals with these colors (such as grey, black, tan or brown) but try to limit other colors on your card and focus on the main color combo.  Lots of fun and creative possibilities await you with this color combo!  I don't know about you, but this combo always make me think of snow, snowflakes and snowmen.  So I reached for my favorite snowman set called  "Snow Much Fun" by Stampin Up to make this weeks card to share with you.  Let's have a look:
here's the inside too:
I've decided to start using more of my DSP stash on the insides of my cards too.  No sense in just having it sit in my craft closet waiting to be used.  Plus the more I use up - the more I can buy later.  If you haven't guessed, I'm a DSP-holic.  LOVE patterned paper - sometimes I buy it with no idea what I will do with it, I just love it so I have to get it :o)  Sorry, I digress... back to the card at hand.  My color combo is Midnight Muse, a 2012-2014 In color that is very close to Navy, and Bashful Blue.  Bashful Blue is not one of my favorite colors but I do love it with the MM.  I colored in the snowman's hat and boots using the MM ink pad and a blender pen. The scarf and birds were also colored with a blender pen and some ink from the BB ink pad.  I couldn't leave the nose un-colored so I used just a tiny bit of orange to touch it up a bit.

Hope you like today's card and I've inspired you to play along with us this week at 52CCT!  If you need more inspiration to get you going all you have to do is pop on over the 52CCT challenge site and see what the other ladies have prepared for you.  BTW the watermark on my card is from my talented friend (and fellow DT member) Mynnette Kitchen - isn't it fabulous?! Thanks Mynn!  I feel so professional now that I'm using it :o)

Gotta run - lots to do this weekend.  Hope to be visiting you soon to see your fabulous Christmas cards using our color combo this week.  Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #40 - Photo Inspiration

Hello dear friends and blog followers hope the start of your week has gone well!  We have a new challenge for you this week at Addicted to Stamps and More - it's a photo inspiration challenge (see above). The photo inspiration challenge will now be part of our regular monthly challenges at ATS&M - we think you're going to like it!

The fun thing about a photo inspiration challenge is that there are really no rules because you go with whatever it is about the photo that inspires you to make your creation to enter in the challenge.  It can be a part of the photo itself (the chair, the ocean, the beach, the drink, the hat), it can be a color or colors in the photo that inspired you (the blues, orange, browns, etc), it can be something else such as the texture of the hat for example (straw) or the idea that this evokes for you such as drinks with friends, relaxing, vacation, etc.  Whatever inspires you is what we want to see.  It would be fun for us when we visit to read what it is that inspired you (if it isn't obvious) and why.

Here's my card - my inspiration was the drink and the water:
My mind immediately went to the idea of a gathering of myself and my friends enjoying some "foofoo" drinks (for those of you who don't know what that is - it would be fancy cocktails) and lots of laughs.  It would be especially wonderful if that were to take place by a beach or pool and with lots of sunshine.  It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy that with some of my friends - maybe its about time to contact them and see what we can do?!

Here's the inside (quite simple really):
What has inspired you this week?  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  Heather Ellis is the sponsor this week for the photo inspiration challenge at ATS&M. You can win a fabulous prize from her by playing along with us this week.  The other ladies on the DT have come up with some wonderful ideas and projects to share with you as well.  Please go visit them too.

Off I go now to dream some more about warm sunshine and a cold drink with  my pals.  Well... probably more realistically to see if that last load of laundry is ready to be moved to the dryer or folded - but a girl can dream - right?! Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

ABC Challenges - Color Challenge, Seize the Birthday #12, Divas by Design and Sweet Stampin Challenge - Scallops

Hello and Happy Monday to each and every one of you!  I was scrambling to get my card done for the Color challenge at ABC Challenges after being out of town this weekend.  Got home to a still messy house (it did not clean itself while we were gone - bummer), loads of laundry and flat exhausted.  I ran right up to my craft room when we got home and began to play. The laundry and house can wait as I was having crafting withdrawals and I had a deadline to meet -lol.  The color challenge this time at ABC Challenges is to use Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery.  If you don't have those exact colors - that's ok - use something similar.  I used Pear Pizzazz instead of the Certainly Celery because that's what I had a scrap of already to use.

These colors are Stampin' Up colors that are soon to be retiring. I am sad to see Pretty in Pink go but I seldom use Bashful Blue or Certainly Celery.  I have to admit that this is a color combo that I only usually use for baby cards or Easter, so I really had to stretch my creative thinking cap to use them in a different way. I decided to make a non-Easter "Springy" card with these colors. For the record this card took me a very lonnnnnggggg time to make because I just couldn't seem to let go of the baby idea.  At one point I even stopped making it and started on a baby card - but then didn't like that and switch back to this one. Isn't it funny how are brains work sometimes? This is proof that even DT members have a hard time with the challenges we come up with from time to time!  I hope you like what I've come up with for your inspiration this week :o)  The other ladies on the DT have also prepared some beautiful cards to share with and inspire you so I hope you will go visit them as well.

I'm entering my card in the following challenges this week:
Divas by Design - Spring Colors
Seize the Birthday challenge #12
and Sweet Stampin Challenge - scallops.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today - I'm sure glad that you did. Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

52CCT - Sketch #16 & April challenge at CCAYR {Christmas Tree}

Hello dear friends and blog followers and a belated hello and thanks to my 45th follower, so glad that you are here! So here it is the start of another weekend (yahoo) and another weekly challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown (see above).  Oh my, I just gotta say that I really liked this sketch - so many ideas and so much potential with this one - it's definitely going in my "to be used again" folder.  So here's what I made using this sketch - hope you like it!
and here's the inside too:
I had a lot of fun with this card.  I stuck with very traditional Christmas colors (don't do that terribly often) and this tree stamp is very easy to fussy cut.  Lately I've been going more on the CAS route but this sketch gave me the opportunity to use some of my DSP stash and lots of layering.  I'm trying to incorporate some of my DSP on the insides more too (I certainly have enough of it that I don't have to be stingy).  Well, that's it for me today.  I'd love it if you would go see what the rest of the DT at 52CCT has made this week to share with you - very FABulous!  I hope that you will decide to join us this week as I can't wait to see what you make!!

I see that the April challenge over at Christmas Cards All Year Round is to use a Christmas tree somewhere on your card - so I'm entering this card for that challenge as well.

Thanks for stopping by to visit me today - I'm sure glad that you did.  Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge #39 - CAS {Pure Innocence}

Hello dear friends and followers - time for another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More!  Have you noticed the we have changed the format of the challenges recently? Our fabulous (and fearless) blog leader Kylie has redesigned the challenges a bit to drop some of the less favorite challenges, keep the most popular ones and add some new ones to the monthly menu.  Kylie has secured some wonderful, generous sponsors for the challenges (that means you can win some great prizes!) and she has also renumbered the challenges to run numerically from the beginning and now we are up to Challenge #39. We are excited about the changes - and we think  you will like them too!  Take a look at what I've made for your inspiration:

I've used a digital image from the sponsor for this week's AST&M Challenge #39 - CAS (Clean and Simple).  I used bright, bold colors for my CAS card this week (colored with copic markers) - as I'm wishing for spring and all its beautiful colors to start appearing.  In keeping with a CAS theme, I've used minimal layers, a lot of white space on the card (around the image), and no fancy techniques or embellishments. To learn more about this sponsor and the prize for this week - please visit the ATS&M challenge site.

The rest of the DT has prepared some amazing CAS creations to share with, and inspire, you this week.  Please go visit them and leave a little note while you're there - we love to hear from you!  I can't wait to visit your blogs and see what you make to share with us too.  Thanks so much for stopping by - I'm sure glad that you did! Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D
