Wonderful Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie

Hey there, Hi there, Hello!!!
Happy Wednesday to you :o)
It's my favorite day of the week -
okay maybe my second favorite day
because Friday is my favorite.
Anyhoo....Wednesdays are awesome
from a crafty perspective because at
the theme is Anything Goes!

This means you have a LOT of krafty
options and can use any one of them for the
challenge this week.  It can be any type of
creation, an color scheme, any sketch,
yep...Anything Goes!  Who doesn't love that?

I received some colored pencils for my birthday
in April and have slowly been playing with them.
They aren't nearly as easy for me to use as
my trusty and loved copic markers but I'm
going to keep trying as I've seen some fantastic
creations with colored pencils and it's fun to
stretch myself creatively!

My DT creation to share with you today
features the beautiful CINDERELLA

I wasn't going to make a square card initially but
then I just couldn't cut up more of this paper than I
needed to.  I wanted all those fun fairy tale words to show
so I needed a bigger space to work with.
Do you do that too?

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Anything Goes (6.28)
Thanks so much for visiting me today!
I hope you will come play along with us this week
at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges.  Each challenge you
enter during the month qualifies you to be eligible
for a $20 gift card to the KKS Shop!
Wanna WIN?  Go get krafty!

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #359 - Use Ribbon,Lace and/or Twine

Happy weekend friends!
We had such a lovely Thanksgiving
with my parents and my best friend and
her family.  Lots and lots of good food.
great company and lots of of laughs.

It's time for another weekly challenge theme at
and there's an amazing
BLACK FRIDAY SALE
going on right now!

Our hostess this week is Marilyn and she has challenged
us to use ribbon, lace and/or twine on our creations.
Although I absolutely adore cards using any one of
these terrific elements I must admit that they are the
most drastically neglected items from my crafty stash!

This past week was an absolute blurr
for me. I lost track of what day of the week
it was due to the holiday and almost forgot that
I had signed up to share a card with you
for this week's challenge. Yikes!!

Thankfully I had this adorable image colored up
and waiting to be put on a card.  Whew!

This sweet, smiley elf is from
GIFT WRAPPING ELF  and guess what...?
She's on SALE this weekend  as part of the
BLACK FRIDAY SALE for only $1.99.
Holy Smokes! That's a great DEAL!
The sales are good through the weekend.
But when this stamp is sold out its gone
forever so HURRY if you want it!

I finished the inside quickly too
with a sentiment from Shake It Up!

I'd like to enter my card in these wonderful challenges too:

Do you have some lonely and unused ribbon, lace or twine in your
crafty stash?!  If so grab that stuff and get busy crafting this
week so you can play along with us.

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them
so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!
Show us your stuff!! You have until Dec 2nd at 11:59 pm EST
to get  your creation linked up.   Can't wait to see what you make!

Have you joined the Kraftin Kimmie's Krafty Friends fb group?
It's the best place to keep up with all of the goings on
as well as sharing YOUR creations and getting inspired
by other Krafty Friends' creations!

Thanks for visiting me today!  Hugs! D

ATS&M Challenge #65 - Photo Inspiration and Inspired By #90

Hello dear friends and followers - welcome to the month of October and a new month of challenges at Addicted to Stamps and More! (ATSM).  This first week of the month we are starting off with a photo inspiration challenge (see above).  You may take ANY or ALL of the elements in this photo to create something of your own. My inspiration was the gorgeous rust and yellow colors as well as the texture on the baskets.  Take a look at what I came up with:
What do you think?  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :o)  If you pop on over to the ATSM challenge site you will see that the DT have created with each of our own styles (and inspiration) in mind. How great for me to belong to such talented team of ladies with so many wonderful and different styles.  Oh and by the way... a little bit of news on our DT. We said a sad goodbye recently to Caz and Florence (LOVED both of their styles!) and recruited a couple more lovely ladies who are starting with us this week - Deepti Malik and Deborah Fringes.  I know you're going to love their style as much as I do.

I'd also like to mention that the ATSM Challenge sponsor this week is Ignacio from NiceCrane Designs.
For more information on the prize and our sponsor please click here and you will arrive at the Challenge site.

I'm also sharing my card over at Inspired By - Challenge #90 (see below).  I picked up on the colors of the buttons and the texture of the soxs.

Hope you will decide to play along with us this week!  We love seeing your entries and visiting your blogs.
Til next time... hugs and happy crafting! D

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown - Theme Challenge #9

Hello friends!  The challenge this week at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown is a Theme challenge - "Gifts of the Season".  There's a whole bunch you can take away from this theme and we just can't wait to see what you come up with!  Here is my card to share with you today - hope you like it!

I decided to make my card look like a package.  The new scalloped tulle ribbon from the Stampin Up!Holiday Mini catalog sure came in handy for this card.  It's a tad bulky with the big bow but it isn't heavy and does squish down quite a bit to put in an envelope (will probably still need extra postage though).   Here's a couple other views:

I am also entering this card in the Christmas Cards All Year Round - September Theme Challenge -Christmas Presents.
Please pop into the 52 CCT challenge site adn see what the rest of the talented DT members have made for your inspiration. It would be great if you'de visit their blogs too and leave them little love note when you do.  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today - til next time... Hugs and Happy Crafting (guess I should say "Merry" crafting - ho ho ho).

Supplies (all from Stampin Up!): Cardstock - Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla.  Stamp (sentiment) from No Peeking stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.  I used the ornament punch to make my tag and inked ever so lightly around it with a finger daubler just to give it a little definition.  Ribbon - NEW 3/8" Scalloped Tulle in Cherry Cobbler (comes in two other colors and is great for wrapping actual packages too).  DSP is from the Festival Prints Designer Paper Stack (NEW in the Holiday mini - 48 sheets of various patterns in 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 size each).  Other - twine and dimension dots.
