Hello lovelies! Happy Saturday!
I took the last month off due to some personal and work
commitments that were causing me too much stress to keep up
with my DT responsibilities and fun. I'm so happy to be back
though and to be the hostess for this week's challenge.
Last month the Krafty Girls absolutely rocked the
February release! I practically had to sit on my hands
to stay on task and keep from coloring and crafting along
with them. I saw so many amazing creations from my
fabulous krafty family that I was inspired to choose the theme
for this week of CASE a Krafty Girl (which includes Kimmie).
What does that mean? Well...CASEing is the art of
Copying and Self Expression. That is you copy or mimic a
creation or style and put your own personal twist of some sort
on it. It's quite flattering to be CASEd (I think {smiling face})
and it gives you a chance to stretch yourself a little bit
and try something different. You can CASE any current or past
Krafty Girl creation (or style - for example Krafty Girl Jessie
uses lots of buttons in the most fabulous way on her creations).

All of the Krafty Girls have such AMAZING talent
and variation of styles. I wanted to CASE them all!
If CASEing isn't your thing - the other option for this
week is to use the fabulous March sketch instead.
I saw an amazing card that Krafty Girl Deborah made last month
using the NEW Buds & Blooms clear stamp set and a gorgeous
watercoloring technique and decided that this was the one I needed
to CASE. And here is Deborah's gorgeous card that I CASEd.
And here is my CASEd card:
I'm sure you can see why I was so inspired!
And here is my CASEd card:
I don't very often watercolor so I was really looking forward
to playing while I made this one. My self expression was to use
a different sentiment from "Love Story Sentiments"
and add it in a different way to the card.

I have a feeling you'll be seeing more water coloring from me.
This was so much fun to do!
