Happy Monday! Hope the day has been good to you.
Although I don't make new year's resolutions,
I have challenged myself to try and use up some of my crafty
stash (old, new unopened items, and started but never finished
creations). In keeping with that personal challenge, I found this
watercolored panel in the pile things I've colored but
never actually made it on to a finished creation.
I had never really loved how it turned out but couldn't seem
to throw it away. Time to challenge myself to use it.
Then I dug through my stash of (very neglected) embossing folders
and found one that I thought would work well. Here's what
I ended up creating to share with you today.
The original watercolored panel was much larger. I cut it down
to fit on the embossed panel and added the punny sentiment.
Suddenly I liked it much better! Funny how that happens.
I never seem to have "Get Well" or "Feel Better Soon" cards
on hand when I need them. But I'll have one now!
Really so glad I used this panel instead of tossing it.
And I had honestly forgotten how satisfying it is to use
an embossing folder! Instant gratification with a few
cranks of the handle! Pretty sure I'll be using some of the
other embossing folders in that box soon too.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Thanks for popping in to visit me today!

I'm so glad you found a way to use that darling panel, Danielle. The embossing adds a nice touch and great color. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
