Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop Card #3 and Unity Show & Tell {Unity Stamp Co.}

Hi again!  I have another card to share with you
tonight that I made for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.
Here it is :o)  I used colored pencils on kraft paper.

This one uses a stamp from the May 2016 kit of the Month
by Unity Stamp Co.  that is perfect for this fun hop and the
current challenge at Unity Stamps Show & Tell

It also uses some of the beautiful designers papers are from Stampin' Up! called
Night of Navy and Crumb Cake card stock (also Stampin' Up!)
and a retired wooden sentiment that I sponged ink on
 to create the ombre effect.

Did you know that I am a Super Sponsor of this hop
and am offering a fabulous FLASH prize???
See the original post here for details :o)

Thanks so much for hoppin' in to visit me today!
Hugs! D

Card for a Strong Woman {Rebuild Herself - Unity Stamp Co}

Hello friends hope you are doing well.
I've been a bit behind in creating and blogging lately
due to a trip to see my son and his lovely lady in Wisconsin
and then catching up like crazy when I got back to work.
I'm hoping this next week will be smoother and craftier  :o)

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a co-worker who
is going through a very tough time.
The stamp and sentiment are from a kit at Unity Stamp Co.
called "Rebuild Herself".  I used copic markers and
used softer colors than I usually do and stamped the image
in brown instead of black ink.  I really like the way it looks.
My co-worker loved it too and said it touched her heart.
That's what really made me happy!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
The Brown Sugar Challenge Blog #199 - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz Challenges #325 - anything goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges #278 - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping in to visit me today.
Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

Sweet 16 Birthday Card {Unity Stamp Co.}

Hello and happy weekend to everyone!
Yesterday was my daughter's 16th birthday.
She definitely embodies the description of
"SWEET" 16.  She is the most beautiful young
woman and a kind, loving and respectful daughter.
I wanted to make a card that represented both
her current beauty and the fact that she is
still evolving each day into the amazing
woman I know she will be.

Here is the card I made for her.
The stamp set is called Faceless Beauty
by Unity Stamp Co.  I felt it so perfectly
fit for Brooklyn's card. I love the faceless portion
of this image as it represents what is yet to be in
terms of who she will become.
Take a look won't you?
My girlie teared up and said that it was THE most
beautiful card I had ever made her and
it was her favorite of all I had given her.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Unity Stamps {Show & Tell} fb group 4/21 - 28
where the theme is to use any Unity Girl.

Hello friends hope you are having a wonderful day!
I'm sharing a card that I made today using one
of my newest crafty purchases from Unity Stamp Co.
called "Face the Sunshine". Take a look:

Lately I've become obsessed with water coloring with
distress inks.  It's so satisfying to create this way!
I'm also kind of obsessed w/plaid paper lately :0).
I guess there are worse things to be obsessed with - right??

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Unity {show & tell} - Unity Girl Challenge March 24 - 31
My Time to Craft #318 - Girlie
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges #271 - Anything Goes

Try it On Tuesday "Add a Quote 29th March"

Thanks for stopping in to visit me today.
Gotta go get ready for my date with the hubster
to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
He's taking me to a really yummy restaurant.
I've tried not to eat too much today so I can
really enjoy tonight!!
Til next time...hugs and happy craftin' D
