KRAFTIN KIMMIE STAMPS NEW Release Feb 2017 BLOG HOP

Happy Sunday and Hello!
Today we have a really fun BLOG HOP
for you showcasing the awesome NEW Release

Woohoo! It's finally here!
ALL of the FOUR new clear stamp sets for February
are now in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop and
we're celebrating with a Krafty HOP!
So grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while you hop
around and enjoy all the amazing creations from the
Krafty Design Team and Guests!!

Such a terrific month - especially for those who like masculine
images.  I think Kimmie and her artists have knocked it out of the park!

My card today features another fantastic guy image from
"SPORTY BOYS" which I've colored up like my
best friend's son's uniform so I can send it to him.
I didn't have any baseball papers so I made my own
using this terrific die cut panel (Your Next Stamp) as
my guide.  I cut the sentiment into individual words so
it would fit on the large baseball (Simple Stories "So Rad" collection).
I did some more doodling to make the baseballs and added
my favorite embellishment to use on cards - enamel dots.
Kinda fun huh?!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Oh hey.... check this out too before you go!
*SUPER SECRET KRAFTY KLUB!*
Don't forget the you have until the 15th to get your order in for the Secret Klub set!
The only clues you get for this set are 1) it's a set by artist Annie Rodrigue
and 2) the theme is fairytales! Check out the main KKS blog for more details.
Thanks for visiting me today! Hugs D

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps NEW Release PEEKS Feb 2017 and ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE

Hello Hello Hello!
we have the ANYTHING GOES theme for
this week AND another PEEK at the awesome
NEW RELEASE stamps for February 2017.
AND the  LIVE Online Release party is this afternoon!

Aren't you just loving the peeks so far?
Today we have another awesome set for the boy atheletes
by artist Emilie Goulet called "SPORTY BOYS".

An awesome set with two boys and some
very fun sentiments!!!

Such a great set to use for boys - but I'd love to receive a
with one of them on it too!  I absolutely adore this set!

Here's my peek card to share with you today

This is my year of trying things that push me a bit
out of my comfort zone creatively.  I love the look
of doodling but always struggle with it.  I decided
to just go for it and not to try and  make it "perfect".
It is, after all, doodling :o).

The other thing I don't do a lot of is CAS and leaving a
a borderless card base.  With this card it was easy because
I used a panel of patterned paper sized was 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Your Next Stamp) that looks very much like a card stock base.
I popped up the main panel with a foam sheet (SugarPea Designs)
for more dimension.  I really do love how it turned out <3.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

As I mentioned above the challenge this week (and every Saturday
during release weeks) is ANYTHING GOES! So create a card, scrapbook
page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie
stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!
Have some krafty fun and join us this week!

Please plan to join us for all the fun and excitement and prizes
this afternoon beginning at 2pm EST! You can come hang out Kimmie
and the Krafty Team at our  LIVE Online Release party!

So enough from me for now.  Hop on down and go visit the
rest of the Krafty Krew and Guests to see their peeks and
then come join us with your own creation for the
ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE this week!
See you tomorrow for the Blog Hop! D

Geek is Chic!

Hello friends hope you are doing well.
It was hot today! Even too hot for me to be outside for long.
I was fortunate to spend a couple hours with a friend yesterday making cards.
Since I was in the crafting mood, & in my cool crafty space I made this card -
the idea for which has been rolling around in my head for a couple days.
Take a look:
Stamp set - "Smarty Pants" by Kraftin' Kimmie

The challenge from last Saturday at Kraftin' Kimmie was "Doodling".
I must admit that doodling makes my heart pound in fear
as I am not at all comfortable with my doodling abilities :o).
But... part of why I participate in these on-line challenges is
to try new things and hopefully grow as a card crafter.
So, even though I missed the deadline for that particular challenge,
I was able to still make the deadline for the Kraftin' Kimmie
Now that I look at it, it doesn't seem so bad at all.
In fact, I kind of like my messy doodling :o) and might try it again.
That is a BIG might - but still a possibility - lol!

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Stampin Royalty Challenge #236 "Anything Goes"
Sister Act Challenge #65 - Anything Goes

Thanks so much friends for stopping by to visit me today!
Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D
