 Hello again!
I'm squeaking under the wire with one last entry for the

This card features another adorable image by
Your Next Stamp (one of the hop sponsors)
called Coffee Characters stamp set

YNS paper packs called Birthday Girl and the current

This time I flipped the orientation of the sketch though.
The sentiment is from another coffee set called
Sprinkles Coffee and Tea.

Off to bed I go so I can wake up
and have a big cup of joe!
Caffeinated hugs! D

Hello friends! I'm back again with a second entry in the

Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop 2021!

One of the sponsors of this awesome event is Your Next Stamp.
I had purchased this adorable coffee related stamp set
awhile ago but hadn't had the chance to use it yet.
Until today - whoot whoot!

Here's my card using the Coffee Characters stamp set
and coordinating dies.  I also used one of the
YNS paper packs called Birthday Girl and the current

As you can see I followed the sketch pretty closely.

I'd love a mug of coffee so big I could sit in it
before I have to go to work lol!

Thanks for sharing with me today.

A CUPPA THANKS

Happy Wednesday crafty friends!
I'm sitting here sipping on my first cup of coffee
and getting ready for the work day.
Feeling especially grateful to the wonderful
person that came up with coffee - what a lifesaver!

I made a coffee related card to espresso my
love of coffee (see what I did there?)
The sweet stamp set is called
Sprinkles - Coffee and Tea by Your Next Stamp

Sometimes I feel like that's how I want to drink
my coffee - just dive right in LOL.

I'm sharing this card in the following challenges.

Guest Designer - Krafty Chicks Challenges #446 - Shades of Green Only

Howdy!  Hope you're having a wonderful day!
This is my second week of Guest Designing for
the Krafty Chicks Challenges.  Such an honor
to be playing with the talented Chicks!

The theme for this week -  Challenge #446
is Shades of Green Only.

My brain literally went straight to shamrocks and
St. Patty's Day because of the holiday (there is not
one tiny little bit of Irish in my DNA), but you could
also interpret this as Spring or nature (trees/grass etc.)
The trick is that we ONLY want to see shades of green
- no other colors except neutrals and skin tones.

I found this Doodlebug Designs paper in my stash
and colored and die cut some adorable Silly Monsters from
Your Next Stamp for my Shades of Green card.
I stamped each image in a light grey ink instead
of the traditional black for a no-lines look.
Aren't they funny?!

I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:

I hope that you'll decide to play along with us this
week and show us how you interpret the
Shades of Green Only challenge.
The Krafty Chicks DT have some
really awesome green creations to share
with you so go check them out too!
Thanks for visiting me today!  Hugs! D

2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - A Sweet Hello

Hello lovely friends and followers!
Hope you're all having a most wonderful day!
Thanks for taking a little time today to pop in
and visit me - I'm glad that you did.

I'm participating in the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
If you haven't heard of this before please go check it out.
There are an amazing number of sponsors offering prizes
and lots and lots of fantastic inspiration featuring
all kinds of different creations.  If you LOVE coffee,
tea or cocoa it's a very fun event.  The past two seasons
I've only been able to hop and enjoy the lovely creations
by all the participants, but this year I found some time to
make three of my own WINTER themed coffee, cocoa creations
(so far) to share with you.  Here's my first one featuring an
adorable stamp set from YOUR NEXT STAMP (one of the
hop's Super Sponsors) called ELLIE LOVES LATTES
(and the coordinating die cut).  I also used some gorgeous
plaid papers from the 6 x 6 paper pack Winter Plaid.
So....drum roll....here's my card. Hope you like it!

In addition to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop I'm
also entering this card in the following challenges:
{PIN}spirational Challenges #205 (Photo inspiration - see below)
I took inspiration from the plaid scarf and Christmas theme
"Merry and Bright" Snowman Winter Holiday Christmas ACEO Original Painting EBSQ | eBay
(I used light green, dark green and red)
than a latte on a winter day - especially for Christmas holiday?!)

Okay so that's all from me on this post.  Thanks again for
popping in to visit me.  I hope I've inspired you a little today.
I'll be back soon with my other coffee/cocoa creations :o).

Happy Birthday to a Reel-y Awesome Guy

Hello friends!
Tomorrow is my son's 24th birthday!
Wow does that make me feel OLD lol!
He arrived about a month early at 5:45 AM
weighing just 5 pounds 5 ounces.  It was LOVE
at first sight and I knew my life would be forever better.
Unfortunately I won't be able to see him on his birthday
(it's hard when they live away from their mamas), but
I will call him bright and early and sing to him
(hope he answers the phone this year hehehe).

One of his favorite things to do is fish
so I used a "reely" fun stamp set from
Your Next Stamp to make his card this year.

The sketch for YNS Challenge #76 made it
easy to put his card together quickly.
and here's the inside too

I'm entering this card in the YNS Sketch Challenge #76
and these challenges too:

Thanks so much for stopping in to visit me today.
Sending you all crafty hugs and good wishes! D

Today is my birthday - whoop whoop!

celebrate and eat the cake :o)

Anyway.... thanks for visiting me today!
I have an Easter card to share with you.
Last month I participated in
The Daily Marker 30 Coloring Challenge.

The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge & Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #59

Hello friends and followers!  I've been coloring a little
something every day this month as part of

The idea is to color something every day this month -
even if it's just for a few minutes.
So far I've been successful with the coloring part
but have only actually finished two cards to share.

On Day 7 I colored the tiny little sun shown below.
Today - Day 15 - I had some fun water coloring
the background panel and finished this card
using the little sun I has colored earlier too!
This adorable stamp set is from Your Next Stamp.
It's called Little Notes and it also has coordinating dies.
I used the YNS Sketch Challenge #59 for my design.

I'd also like to enter this card in these challenges too:

KRAFTIN KIMMIE STAMPS NEW Release Feb 2017 BLOG HOP

Happy Sunday and Hello!
Today we have a really fun BLOG HOP
for you showcasing the awesome NEW Release

Woohoo! It's finally here!
ALL of the FOUR new clear stamp sets for February
are now in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop and
we're celebrating with a Krafty HOP!
So grab a nice hot beverage, sit back and relax while you hop
around and enjoy all the amazing creations from the
Krafty Design Team and Guests!!

Such a terrific month - especially for those who like masculine
images.  I think Kimmie and her artists have knocked it out of the park!

My card today features another fantastic guy image from
"SPORTY BOYS" which I've colored up like my
best friend's son's uniform so I can send it to him.
I didn't have any baseball papers so I made my own
using this terrific die cut panel (Your Next Stamp) as
my guide.  I cut the sentiment into individual words so
it would fit on the large baseball (Simple Stories "So Rad" collection).
I did some more doodling to make the baseballs and added
my favorite embellishment to use on cards - enamel dots.
Kinda fun huh?!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Oh hey.... check this out too before you go!
*SUPER SECRET KRAFTY KLUB!*
Don't forget the you have until the 15th to get your order in for the Secret Klub set!
The only clues you get for this set are 1) it's a set by artist Annie Rodrigue
and 2) the theme is fairytales! Check out the main KKS blog for more details.
Thanks for visiting me today! Hugs D

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps NEW Release PEEKS Feb 2017 and ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE

Hello Hello Hello!
we have the ANYTHING GOES theme for
this week AND another PEEK at the awesome
NEW RELEASE stamps for February 2017.
AND the  LIVE Online Release party is this afternoon!

Aren't you just loving the peeks so far?
Today we have another awesome set for the boy atheletes
by artist Emilie Goulet called "SPORTY BOYS".

An awesome set with two boys and some
very fun sentiments!!!

Such a great set to use for boys - but I'd love to receive a
with one of them on it too!  I absolutely adore this set!

Here's my peek card to share with you today

This is my year of trying things that push me a bit
out of my comfort zone creatively.  I love the look
of doodling but always struggle with it.  I decided
to just go for it and not to try and  make it "perfect".
It is, after all, doodling :o).

The other thing I don't do a lot of is CAS and leaving a
a borderless card base.  With this card it was easy because
I used a panel of patterned paper sized was 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"
(Your Next Stamp) that looks very much like a card stock base.
I popped up the main panel with a foam sheet (SugarPea Designs)
for more dimension.  I really do love how it turned out <3.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

As I mentioned above the challenge this week (and every Saturday
during release weeks) is ANYTHING GOES! So create a card, scrapbook
page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie
stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!
Have some krafty fun and join us this week!

Please plan to join us for all the fun and excitement and prizes
this afternoon beginning at 2pm EST! You can come hang out Kimmie
and the Krafty Team at our  LIVE Online Release party!

So enough from me for now.  Hop on down and go visit the
rest of the Krafty Krew and Guests to see their peeks and
then come join us with your own creation for the
ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE this week!
See you tomorrow for the Blog Hop! D

It will make your heart soar!

This fun new boy's set features Lucas and his furry pal!
It features one large main image plus FIVE coordinating sentiments in a fabulous font!

I had A LOT of creative fun with my card - check it out!

I colored the main image and road with copics, The sky and
little town scene were sponged with distress inks (die cut
is from Your Next Stamps). The white on the road and plane wings
is from a white sharpie paint pen.  Finally I added some puffy paint
around the die cut clouds (My Favorite Things) for more texture.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

I'm not sure if I think this week is going by slowly or too fast.
Too fast for all the crafty projects I want to get done

My card today uses one of the brand newest
stamps from the beautiful MERMAID FRIENDS
and a sentiment from OCEANS OF LOVE (currently
sold out but will be back soon) - take a look:

I've been seeing the use of vellum a lot lately so I thought
I'd pull some out of my stash and play with it at bit
Those waves are actually the puffy cloud border dies from
Your Next Stamp.  I think it turned out kind of fun ;o).

I used the sketch from MOJO Monday #449 this week
(as you can see I flipped the orientation of it though)
for the layout.  I also wanted to play along with
the current challenge at 613 Avenue Create #177
which is Anything Goes w/optional twist of

Hello sweet friends and followers.

I hope you've been having a wonderful weekend

King of the Crib - Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #22

Hello friends! Things have been a bit quiet on my blog
this past week.  I thought once school started things would
kind of slow down again but things have gotten a bit crazier
and busier instead.  Hmmm...what's up with that?

I did find time to make a special request card for a
new baby boy that is on his way soon.   Take a look:

The nursery is decorated in a jungle theme.
I used the super sweet stamp set from Your Next Stamp
called "King of the Crib, a fun die cut set from SugarPea Designs
called "Baby Diaper Pin", some ribbon from my stash and some super
adorable Doodlebug Patterned Papers - Baby Boy.

It's a bit difficult to see in the photo but I double layered the lion's head
(stamped it twice and fussy cut around one of them) and popped it up
with glue dots for extra dimension.  It's way cute IRL!
Here's the inside too:

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Time to Craft #298 - Sketch

Oh Hooray it's Saturday!!!!
And time for another challenge
at MY TIME TO CRAFT - Whoop Whoop!
This week we have a terrific SKETCH for you to use.

Oh goodness....I LOVE circles in sketches!
Circles often signify feminine in my mind but
this time I knew immediately what I wanted to do
for a masculine card.  I really thought about creating a
a circle shaped card but decided instead to use the circle
elements and make a square card. And...here's the end result:

The stamps (beer mug and sentiment) are from
Your Next Stamp "For the Boys" and the papers are
by Echo Park "Jack and Jill - boy".  FUN huh??!
I think I'm going to save this one for my son's bday
in November. He turned 21 this year and has decided
that he really likes microbrews - so it's perfect for him!
(Although I hope he doesn't  have that look on his face - LOL)

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Trio Tastic (3 banners)
the Friday Mashup #215 - It's All About 3 (3 banners)

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!
The rest of the talented ladies on the MTTC team have
also made some wonderful creations to share with you this week.
Please go visit them too and say "hi".
Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

Your Next Stamp - Feature Day - Shaped Card

Hello friends - thanks for stopping by to visit me today!
Today is a special day for me as it is my husband and
my daughter's birthday.  He's gotten very used to sharing his
birthday with her and always says that she was his best present ever.
I do think they share a special bond because of it.

It's also my my last post as an April Guest Designer
for YOUR NEXT STAMP.

This challenge is to make something other than an A2
(standard 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" sized) card.  I  make lots of
square cards but seldom make shaped cards.
Not sure why as I have lots of layers dies that work
wonderfully for this style of card.

I pulled out those dies and got busy making this fun little creation
with an adorable stamp set called "Spring Birds"

Aren't these little birds so tweet?? Sorry - I couldn't help myself!
Doesn't this sentiment make you want to break into a song?
"Rockin Robin" comes to mind for me.
I used lots of fun layers and a little paper piercing to add texture.
I snipped the very end of the bottom tip off so the card will stand up.
The overall size is approx 5 x 5 3/4" so it will fit in a 6x6 envelope.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Come and Get it Challenges - Things that Start with "B"
Crafty Creations - #287 Seeing Spots
Papertake Weekly - Cute as a Button
Addicted to Stamps - Challenge #141 Anything Goes

I have so enjoyed this opportunity to share my creations
using these wonderful stamps and being part of this
amazingly talented and creative group!
Such a blessing for me! Thank you Karen and YNS Team!
'Til next time friends...hugs and happy crafting! D

Your Next Stamp - DT DARE

Hello sweet friends - thanks for visiting me today!
Have you enjoyed this week of different and fun creations
from the Your Next Stamp April Release?
I was over the moon impressed with all the amazing
creations from the awesome team and guest Kendra at YNS.

Today I'm back (as a guest designer) for the DT DARE.
The DARE specifically is to put a feminine twist on our creations.

Here's my card using "Bookworms Rule  "
I think this set is my favorite as I was totally a bookworm
as a child and still love books today.  Take a look:
I used another of the sentiments on the inside too

This stamp set would be perfect for a scrapbook page,
the front of a journal, on a Project Life type card,
as a tag on a birthday gift to a book lover - I just LOVE it!!

I hope you will go visit the rest of the lovely ladies at YNS
and see what they have made for this dare.
Til next time friends...hugs and happy crafting! D
