Make a Square Card!

Square cards are so much fun to make.  

You get lots of great space to work with. 

I recently got this fun paper pack that 

goes so perfectly with two of the adorable

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp sets!! Take a peek!

That adorable gingerbread house is one 

of the stamps in Gingerbread Kisses and

the sentiment is from Yummy Christmas!

I colored the gingerbread house with 

copic markers on kraft paper and then 

added details with a white gel pen and

some Nuvo drops.  The little gingerbread

people icons are from the same paper

line.  I love it all comes together so sweetly!

November 2022 Skrappy Challenge

  Good morning krafty friends!

It's November, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

For this challenge I made a little lighted box. There are two sweet elves from SANTA’S VILLAGE  and NORTH POLE HELPERS stamp sets enjoying the glow from the tea light inside. The sentiment on top of the box is from another sweet Christmas stamp set called CANDY CANE KISSES. It was an easy and fun creation to make. I love how it turned out! Take a peek! 

Now it’s over to you to show us what you’re creating that’s not a card. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #656 "Winter"

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

We've got some fabulous ideas for you

This week, Krafty Girl Delphine is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

WINTER!

Winter arrived in Montana for a few days last week and I was not ready! It was just enough to give us a warning and tell us to get ready, LOL.  I don't mind snow but only if it's close to Christmas!!  

I have fond memories of playing in the snow with my kiddos and making snow people with my siblings.  It's fun, but I'm just not ready...yet! 

This fun stamp set called FROSTY FRIENDS with the WOOLY WINTER stencil helps me get in the mood though - and it's perfect for this week's theme!  

I guess you could call this a mixed media card.  There's snowtex on the bottom section (it has great sparkly texture).  There's some stickles and some white gel pen.  To make the background, I used a tone on tone effect by using Purple Pansy ink on purple cardstock through the stencil.  Then, I traced around each of the icons with a white gel pen to give it more dimension. I'm kind of digging how fun this turned out.  It (almost) makes me want to go build a snowman! 

BONUS - this stamp set and stencil that I used are on SALE right now until Kimmie gets back from her vacation.  Scoop it up and be ready for making lots of winter cards while you are warm and toasty inside. PLUS there are LOTS of other stamps, stencils and inks on sale too! It's like an early Christmas present to yourself.  I promise I won't judge hahahaha!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #655 - Inspired by a Song or Movie

This week, Krafty Girl Patti is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

INSPIRED BY A SONG OR MOVIE!

 My card is based off both a movie and a song (really two songs).  I love the Santa Clause movies starring Tim Allen and rewatch them every season.  A couple songs that inspired me were "Jolly Ol' Saint Nicolas" and "Here Comes Santa Clause".  Take a peek at what I came up with to share with you today:

The background panel was made with the newly released 2 piece layering stencil called GIFTS GALORE.  I inked through the first layer with Lucky Limeade KKS hybrid ink and then used decofoil duo gel and red foil (with the minc machine) to create the shiny second layer.  The adorable Santa is from the Santa's Village stamp set (released in September).  The tiny little ornaments are from a coordinating stamp set called North Pole Helpers (released this month) and the sentiment is from Believe in Your-Elf!  So what do you think?  Where you able to guess my inspiration?

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October 2022 Release - Hop and Shop!

Woohoo!!! It's an exciting day because

So much goodness - am I right?!

I used the Pawsome Holiday stamp set along with a couple of the gorgeous papers and one of the tags from the Add-On bundle.  

I'm loving the gold shimmer on the paper - and added my own to the 

star on top of the puppy tree with decofoil gel and a leftover scrap of gold foil.  The puppy tree is 

popped up on foam to give it more dimension.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October New Release Peeks DAY THREE!! Plus a Challenge!

  Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a wonderful set

by artist Sabrina van Vloten called...

NORTH POLE HELPERS!

This amazing Christmas stamp set features two sweet helper elves, fun shops and accessories - and it coordinates with the Santa's Village set released last month!!

EEEEE don't you just love it when new releases coordinate with a previously released set SO PERFECTLY?  There are lots and lots of ways you can use this darling set to create sweet Christmas scenes!

I combined a couple of the images from the stamp set with the new GIFTS GALORE layering stencil.  This is our 3rd layering stencil released this year and it's just as fabulous as the other ones!! I used inks on the first layer and then used some yellow neon glitter paste through the second layer.  I was really pleased with it!

The sentiment is from Shake it Up Christmas! stamped with Tranquil Teal ink.  Although the photo doesn't show it very clearly, there is some glitter on the wrapping station building (why is glitter so difficult to photograph?!)  I traced around the packages with a white gel pen to give them an extra pop.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October New Release Peeks - DAY TWO! Pawsome Holiday!

      Welcome back to Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from artist Becky Pearce

 and it's called PAWSOME HOLIDAY!

This adorable set features a super cute puppy tree, accessories and so many 'pawsome' sentiments!!

 Check out PAWSOME HOLIDAY! in so many awesome creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  You'll also see the new stencils and Add-On bundle along the way!

I used the Pawprints 2 stencil and ephemera from the Add-On bundle on my card along with the single pup image (which I colored to look similar to one of my little dogs).  

The small sentiment is heat embossed in white to tie in with the sentiment on the ephemera.   

You'll see more of our October goodies all week, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday at 2 pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!
