Every month we post a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! 

This month our challenge themes for you are:

Snow and/or Stencils!

You can choose one theme or combine them!

I absolutely LOVE to create custom backgrounds on my cards with the 

Kraftin’ Kimmie stencils and inks!

Today I’m sharing a couple of card based on the stencil theme prompt. 

The first card features the

HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS 

stencil and the 

MIX & MATCH HOLIDAY SENTIMENTS. 

This stencil is a two piece layered

stencil which is so fun to 

use a combo of inks and to 

combine inks with pastes and glitter. 

I love how gorgeous and 

elegant this looks! 

The second card features the 

RUGGED ROPE stencil.

 

The fun thing about this card is that 

I used the stencil to emboss the

rope pattern on the panel before

I used it the traditional way by

inking through it. 

The sweet sailor image is from

The AHOY SAILOR! stamp set.

October Release Recap Hop - Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps

The NEW Flaming Holidays! stamp set is so unique and fun! 

It’s perfect for those who love fantasy and magic - and of course Christmas too! Here’s the card that I made to share with you.

I colored the adorable image with copic markers and

then created a mask of it so that I could use 

the chubby clouds stencil all around it for the sky.

Can you imagine seeing a Santa dragon flying over 

your house? That would be magical!

November Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps

 Good morning, my Krafty Friends!

It's November and that means it's time for a new
Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!  So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I recently had the opportunity to use an old

but "new to me" technique of using shaving cream

to make a unique background. 

Here are the tags that I made with the 

Magical Midnight and Purple Pansy  

KKS re-inkers and the shaving cream.

Here's the tags featuring three of the

super chill and adorable snow peeps and 

their furry bunny friend from

FLAKY FRIENDS!

The sentiment on this tag is

from SKATING FRIENDS! stamp set.

The sentiment on this one is from 

the new HOLIDAY POSTAGE! stamp set. 

And here's the last one that I made

with the tiniest bit of the swirl pattern 

(it was just so pretty I had to find a way

to use it all).

The background of the larger

tag base was made with the 

COOL CRYSTALS! stencil and

Magical Midnight and Purple Pansy

KKS hybrid inks.  The sentiment

is another of the fun options 

in the SKATING FRIENDS! stamp set.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #687 - Snow and/or Stencils

Oh boy what fun challenge prompts this month!

I love playing with the KKS stencils, so I made

two cards this time to share and inspire.

My first card actually combines both of the

challenge prompts because I used the 

gorgeous Let It Snow! layering stencil. 

The cute little critter and sentiment is 

from the November Stamp of the Month

called You Make Everyday Cool!

This adorable stamp set is FREE when you spend $75CAN before shipping and tax on an order in the Krafty Shop during November while supplies last!

The second card features the newly released 

HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS layering stencil

with some gorgeous, glittery, Astro Paste 

and a very cute critter.  

This card uses three different stamp sets too. 

I started by shading a piece of white

Hammermill cardstock with Purple Pansy

and Tranquil Teal ink.  Then, I used the

first layer of the stencil to color in the ornaments

with the same colors and added Gorgeous Grape 

to make the tops of the ornaments. 

To get the sparkle, I used the second layer

of the stencil with Astro Paste in 

Tropical Tango and Prom Queen. 

Swoon! I love the sparkle!

That ADORABLE racoon is from the

Snowball Fight stamp set and the gift

that its holding is from Pawsome Holidays.

The middle panel has a stamped pattern 

using two of the little accessory stamps 

from the Snowball Fight stamp set (I used 

Gorgeous Grape for the stamping).  

 And last but not least, the sentiment 

is from Mix and Match Holiday Sentiments.

November Stamp of the Month - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

 Welcome NOVEMBER!

It's a brand new month so that means....
there's a brand new
Stamp of the Month!

I made a tag with this month's stamp set.

The background on the tag was

made with shaving cream and

Magical Midnight and Purple Pansy

KKS reinkers.  It was the first time

I've tried that technique and I 

will be doing it lots more!

After coloring this sweet little mouse

with my copic markers, I fussy

cut around the image and then popped

it up in the die cut sentiment panel.

The final touch was all kinds of 

snowflakes made with Liquid Applique

and a heat gun.
