March 2023 Skrappy Challenge

Good morning krafty friends!

It's March, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, April 3rd to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

August Skrappy Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday! 

Can you believe it's August already?!

Truthfully I'm kind of wondering how the heck

that happened so fast LOL! But I'm not complaining

really as I love the hot days of August and I look

forward to fall being right around the corner. 

Oh but I digress because what I really wanted to share 

with you is that we have a new challenge for you at 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS.  

At the start of each month it's the SKRAPPY CHALLENGE.

What's this you might ask? 

Well...it's an opportunity for you to 

create and share with us a project that 

is really anything but a card.  

You can make and share a 3D project such as a 

tag, bookmark, box, ornament, or maybe some

ATCs or a scrapbook or planner spread.  

We love to see you use your Kraftin' Kimmie goodies and 

stretch your creative muscles to inspire us and others!

If we get at least 5 people to participate in the challenge this

month there will be a $10 prize to the Krafty Shop offered to

one lucky random winners. You have until August 31st to enter.

I am one of those people that still prefers real books over 

electronic versions.  Something about the weight of the 

book in my hands, the sound of the pages turning and the smell. 

To me that's just heavenly!  And I also hate to turn the corners of

my pages to mark my place and love to use bookmarks! 

So I collect those (kind of like I collect coffee mugs). 

I had this idea to make a book wrap/sleeve with a removable 

bookmark as a fun way to gift or share a book.  

The main image is from GIRL POWER.  The sentiments

scattered around the sleeve are from several other stamp sets

that feature readers, reading or bookworms.

Krafty Skrappy Challenge - January 2019

Hello sweet blog friends and followers.

It's the end of the month so that means we have

a new Krafty Skrappy Challenge starting again

at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges.

What's a Krafty Skrappy challenge you might ask?

The short answer is that it's a challenge where you can make 

ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  But that's really the only limitation.

Scrapbook pages, bookmarks, gifts, gift bags, tags,

journal pages, planner pages...you get the idea I'm sure.
Just be sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp (or
stencil).  When we get at least five entries there will
be a prize opportunity for a $20 voucher to the KKS shop. 

I recently made up some fun tags to put on goody gifts bags
for my daughter and several of her friends to support them

during their first ever finals week at college. 

I put all kinds of treats in each of them. It was so much fun
and they loved it! I have a feeling I started something that

they will now hope I continue each semester end.  

I used the NEW Hearts and Stars clear stamp set

and combined it with sentiments from Happy Thoughts
to make the tags for each of the gift bags.
