November Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps

 Good morning, my Krafty Friends!

It's November and that means it's time for a new
Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!  So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

I recently had the opportunity to use an old
but "new to me" technique of using shaving cream
to make a unique background.
Here are the tags that I made with the
KKS re-inkers and the shaving cream.

Here's the tags featuring three of the
super chill and adorable snow peeps and
their furry bunny friend from

The sentiment on this tag is
from SKATING FRIENDS! stamp set.

The sentiment on this one is from
the new HOLIDAY POSTAGE! stamp set.

And here's the last one that I made
with the tiniest bit of the swirl pattern
(it was just so pretty I had to find a way
to use it all).
The background of the larger
tag base was made with the
COOL CRYSTALS! stencil and
KKS hybrid inks.  The sentiment
is another of the fun options
in the SKATING FRIENDS! stamp set.

That's a wrap for me this time.
I hope that you enjoyed the inspiration
that I've shared with you!

Today I’m sharing with you a couple of sweet tags I made with some leftover bits and pieces of other crafty creations.
I started with a leftover panel made from the beautiful Holly stencil.

That adorable little cottage
is from the
Santa’s Village stamp set.

Both tags use a couple of
the sentiments from
(This was the final stamp set from the 2022 Krafty Advent calendar) with
Ruby Red and Fresh Fields
KKS inks.
I also had one little
Doodle pop penguin and package sticker that were added to the other tag
and a couple ribbon scraps.
Ta-Dah!
Two sweet tags done and ready to add to a special
little package.

Hope you liked my
tags and that I’ve inspired you to join the Skrappy Challenge this month!

September Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's September and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

You have until Monday, October 4th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Today I have a fun shaker tag to share with you!
I used one of the super cute images from
SQUIRREL FUN and papers and the Cosmic
Shimmer Opal Blaze (sunset orange) from the August Add On bundle
To make this tag I first used some Lunar Paste (in traffic cone orange) through the Falling Leaves Stencil on top of one of the papers from the bundle.  Then I sprayed some Distress Oxide paints over the top of it. The outer frame of this tag is chipboard but you can't tell that because I used the gorgeous Cosmic Shimmer over the top of it. The sentiment is stamped with the new Cool Canteloupe hybrid ink (such a gorgeous fall orange!).

Here's a close up

If you haven't grabbed the August Add On bundle (still available in limited quantities) you are missing out on some seriously awesome fall
products that work so well with the recent fall release (and previous ones too) at KKS.
The idea behind the Add On bundles is that you can immediately start crafting and creating when you open the package. There are FIVE full size products in this bundle!! Everything is coordinated so wonderfully and you don't have to dig for things or think too hard about what goes with what.
Anyway... as I said, it's a great value and awesome bunch of goodies so grab it while you can cause when it's gone, it's gone!

Thanks for visiting me today!

After Christmas Christmas Card - Beary Big Hugs!

Hello friends and followers.
Once again I found myself scrambling in December
to get enough Christmas cards done to send out.
I LOVE making Christmas cards - but I also love
making cards for every other reasons (LOL) which puts
me behind when I need them.
So...this year I'm going to try to make at least one Christmas
card a month. Hey 12 by December is better than 0 don't you agree?!

This is my first one using an adorable stamp set called
BEARY BIG HUGS! by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Here's a little bit more about how I made this card:
The background is the negative (or reverse) side of
a stencil that I had swirled a bunch of Nuevo glimmer
paste on.  I misted the panel as well as the paper
and pressed down the stencil as firmly and evenly
as I could.  If you zoom in you can see the snowflakes.
I think a thinner paper (this is watercolor paper) might  have
shown details of the snowflakes better.
It wasn't quite what I was expecting by I really like it.
The stencil is Sparkling Snowflakes (also by Kraftin' Kimmie).
The blue tag is actually a recycled Christmas tag from
one of my packages.  I used it as a template to cut the
second tag and then sponged all over it with Sparkling Sapphire
(KKS hybrid ink).  I pressed a bit hard a couple times
to get more of a smudged look to match the background.
I forgot to tie on a piece of twine before I glued down the
white tag (shucks!) so I covered the hole with an enamel dot.
Stamped a few extra snowflakes from the Snowflake Kisses
(after sponging) and fussy cut the copic colored bear.

I'm sharing this card in the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping in to visit me today!  Hugs! D

Krafty Skrappy Challenge - January 2019

Hello sweet blog friends and followers.
It's the end of the month so that means we have
a new Krafty Skrappy Challenge starting again
at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges.

What's a Krafty Skrappy challenge you might ask?
The short answer is that it's a challenge where you can make
ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  But that's really the only limitation.
Scrapbook pages, bookmarks, gifts, gift bags, tags,
journal pages, planner pages...you get the idea I'm sure.
Just be sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp (or
stencil).  When we get at least five entries there will
be a prize opportunity for a $20 voucher to the KKS shop.

I recently made up some fun tags to put on goody gifts bags
for my daughter and several of her friends to support them
during their first ever finals week at college.
I put all kinds of treats in each of them. It was so much fun
and they loved it! I have a feeling I started something that
they will now hope I continue each semester end.
I used the NEW Hearts and Stars clear stamp set
and combined it with sentiments from Happy Thoughts
to make the tags for each of the gift bags.

Here they are on some of the bags

So what will you make to share with us this?
You have until Feb 25th to play along.
Looking forward to seeing your entry!
Hugs D!

12 Krafty Days of Khristmas Wrap Up (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) and 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday friends and followers!
Congrats for making it past Monday lol!
Have you been following the
12 Krafty Days of Khristmas
event at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps/Challenges?

Each day we've been featuring one of the
stamp sets released each month during 2017.
You can see my posts for Day Two here
and for Day Nine here

Today I'm featuring one of the stamp sets from
November 2017 called A BREW-TIFUL DAY
(with a little extra accessories from Shake it Up)
I made some special gift bags for my co-workers
and friends by stamping all over some muslin bags
(one of them I then colored in with my copic markers)
and adding a coordinating tag.  Each gift has a small bag of
ground coffee and special winter/Christmas chocolates.

I also made one special little bag for a friend who doesn't
like coffee (the horror) using cocoa mix, a peppermint
and chocolate covered cookie stick (YUM!)
and some awesome large snowflake marshmallows
(one just can't have cocoa without marshmallows!).

here's a couple close ups of the coffee bags
(I apologize for the poor lighting on the photos )

I'm also sharing these gifts in these awesome challenges:
2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop (my third entry)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Gift it!
Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - #273 Anything But a Card

Wonderful Wednesday Anything Goes at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges

Hey Hey its time for another
Wonderful Wednesday at
and that means the theme is ANYTHING GOES!

I love to make small surprises for my co-workers during
the holidays. Today I'm sharing a sweet little gift that I
put together for my co-workers at Halloween
using one of my favorite clear stamp sets
called MINI MONSTERS.  I realized after I
had passed out all but one of them that I hadn't
yet taken a photo of them to share for this
challenge - oops - so I quickly put this one on my desk
and snapped a quick pic.  I made a few variations of
tags with the sayings and extra accessory stamps.
My apologies for only having one to show you
but I think you get the idea (smiley face)

I hope that you will find time to join us this week!
Thanks for stopping in to visit me today.  Hugs luvs! D

Sweet Valentine's Love

Happy Valentine's Day crafty friends!
Hope you had a wonderful day and felt very loved.
I made some sweet little valentine's treats for
my staff and co-workers.  First there are these:

These tags (using Stampin' Up! tag punch) are a CASE of some
adorable CAS valentines that I saw on the SugarPea Designs Blog
by Tracey McNeely who used the Barn to Be Wild stamp set
and coordinating dies,  Click on the link above to see Tracey's
creations that inspired me.

And I also made these ones using a sweet little stamp set
from Neat and Tangled called "My Favorite Nut"
I stamped on Kraft paper with a brown ink and
then filled in the sweet squirrel with copics.  The
one darker brown tag I tried colored pencils on
just to see how it would look.  I put a piece of cardstock
matting on the back of each panel so the coloring
wouldn't show through, and wrote a little message on the back.

I found the jars and twine in the $1 bin at Target. SCORE!
The jars are filled with conversation hearts, sweet tart hearts
and valentine M&Ms.  I can tell you that these were a hit today!
I love to make people happy :o)

I'd like to enter the barnyard tags in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - CUTE
Pile it On Challenges #126 "Hearts on Fire"
Addicted to CAS Challenge #104 "Pets"
(I hope barnyard pets count)
Come and Get it Challenges - Love is in the Air
Stampin' Sensations Challenges - February "Animal Magic"

I'd like the enter the squirrel tags in these challenges:

I'm glad you stopped in to visit me today!
Have an awesome day today and rest of the week.
Hugs! D

Merry Christmas Tag

Hello friends and followers!
A special hello to my newest follower Debra.
So happy to have you along for the ride in my creative journey.

A quick post for me tonight as I have a crazy day
tomorrow at work and need my beauty rest :o)

I don't make a lot of tags as I'm kind
of fussy about the tag matching the package.
And usually by the time I get my gifts wrapped
I'm completely out of time to make a tag.
However...I made one tonight that
I think will go with most any wrapping.
Take a look:
Dog stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie - Snow Much Love (set)
Sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie - Christmas Cheer (set)

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Kraftin Kimmie Challenge #259 - Tag, You're It!

MTTC#263 - Tag It!

Hello friends and followers - happy weekend!!
The month of October is just practically evaporating for me.
This 3rd week of the month at My Time to Craft (MTTC)
we have a little different and fun challenge for you.
MTTC #263 is Tag It!

We want to see your tags - not attached to a card or project.
Just a good ol' tag!  Here's mine for this week:

I mustache you...do you like it?  LOL
I used my new mustache die - just love it -
and popped it up using dimensional dots.
I colored the image with my Stampin' Blendabilities markers
and added some rhinestones for added bling.

I don't very often make tags but with images as cute as this
I think I might need to make a few more!

I'm entering my tag in the following challenges:
The Crafter's Cafe - Challenge #86 Use an Image with a Hat
Crafting from the Heart - Challenge #40 - Anything Goes

I also made a second tag from the from set (Stampin Up!)
but attached this one to a card.

Fun huh?
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #86 Use an Image with a Hat
Inky Impressions Challenge #181 - Anything Goes

I hope that you will decide to join us this week at MTTC.
My lovely DT pals have made some amazing tags for your inspiration.
Please go visit them and say "Hi".
Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D
