Catch the Bug Challenges - May Theme "In the Garden"

Happy weekend friends and followers!
Hope each of you are doing well and enjoying your weekend :o)
Today I will be spending time with my Mom and
tomorrow my sweet daughter and I will spend time together.

It's time for another weekly challenge at
and this week the theme is "In the Garden".
I hope that you will find time to play along with us!

I chose the fun image called "JJ gardening" for my card today.

I  must admit that it nearly drove me batty not to have a
sentiment on this card.  But...I just couldn't find one that I
felt fit so I decided to leave it off and now I can make it
whatever I want in the future.  Would make a good summer
"hello" or "thinking of you" card for a gardening friend.

I had a garden years ago. My son was about 4 and he loved to pull
the carrots and radishes out of the ground. He also liked to sneak
the pea pods off the vines when I wasn't looking.
I would really like to have a garden again sometime -
nothing like homegrown goodness as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create Challenge #122 Anything Goes w/optional twist Feminine
Brown Sugar Challenges #145 -  Layers
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges #226 "Anything Goes"

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!
Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

  3. This is adorable, Danielle! Fabulous coloring of JJ and the papers are perfectly coordinated. I agree, there is nothing like freshly grown veggies. I'm lucky that DH enjoys gardening and I get to reap the bounty! LOL!

  4. You're so great at picking DPs that go perfectly with your images, and this time is no exception. I guess we have something in common, the love of papers, I'm a hoarder of papers and let very little of my precious papers go to waste.
