November Krafty Scrappin' Challenge (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)

Oh Hello sweet crafty friends and followers.

My post today is for the November Krafty Scrappin challenge

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES.

For this challenge you can create ANYthing you wish 

as long as it's NOT a card! 

Calendars, bookmarks, pocket pages, traditional scrap pages, 

holiday gifts, planner pages... you get the picture! But NO Cards.

The November theme is  ANYTHING GOES!

I'm usually so busy making cards that I don't stop to make the time

to create something different unless it's a special occasion or reason.

My project today is a sweet little tag that I made using 

Happy Fall Y'All that I put on a jar of homemade applesauce

from my own tree.  It was a gift for my Grandma 

who LOVES anything sweet - and especially applesauce.

Two years ago I only had about 3 little apples on my tree.

Last year I had quite a lot but most of them had bugs but

this year was a bumper crop and I had more than I knew what to

do with.  So I googled applesauce recipes and made several

different versions.  It was so much easier than I thought it

would be and man was it ever wayyyy better than any I've

purchased at the store.  Grandma likes it sweeter than I

do (and smooth) so I added brown sugar to hers and 

threw it in the blender when it was done cooking. 

Needless to say I was her favorite granddaughter 

(Oops I promised not to tell anyone that - lol!)

So enough from me for now.  I hope I've inspired you

to play along with us this time. It is the season for 

giving and there are lots of sweet stamp sets at 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that work perfectly for this.

Kraftin' Kimmie Krafty Scrappin' Challenges - July {Anything But A Card}

We have a another Krafty Scrappin' Challenge

starting today at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES.
What does that mean? Well it means for this challenge
you can create ANYthing your little heart desires
as long as it's NOT a card! Calendars, bookmarks,
pocket pages, traditional scrap pages,

holiday gifties, planner pages... you get the picture!

I decided to make a book notebook for my daughter.

She's always making lists of the books she either wants
to buy or the ones she wants to read again, or the ones 

she has purchased but not yet read (there's a lot of those!).

 She has these lists all over the place so I thought
it might be fun to make her a notebook to keep them in.   

Here's the front:

I used one of the adorable main images and all the 

sentiments from"Happiness is Reading" - and couple

sentiments from Book Dragon too.  

Here's the inside with a flap for notes

or bookmarks - the top sentiment is

from the NEW Book Dragon clear stamp set

and the bottom one is from Happiness is Reading  

Then I randomly stamped some of the inside 

pages with the Book Dragon.

and here's the back with another pocket

and another sentiment from Book Dragon

I made three sections for her so she can

keep her lists separated as she likes to do

and be able to cross off and move when she 

is ready for a different section.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: April Krafty Scrappin' Challenges - Anything Goes

Happy Tuesday krafty peeps!

Last night I got a Facebook message from Tangii 

reminding me that I had signed up for this month's 

Krafty Scrappy Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie.  

OH SHOOT and SUGAR BRITCHES!!

I had been so busy with everything else (including 

my tax returns) that I had totally spaced it!  

So I quickly opened my planner page to this week

(which by the way was still completely blank with the 

exception of one Blog post reminder for yesterday)

and grabbed some of my KRAFTIN' KIMMIE stamp sets

and went to town laying out my week in style.  

My husband walked by as I was finishing it up

and said "Wow, that some fancy planning you're doing".

LOL - I think that meant he thought it was cool??!

Although unplanned (haha get it - I worked on my planner?)

I'm so glad I got it together because now my weekly 

schedule will be much more fun and enjoyable as

I look at my calendar.  Well...enough yappin' from me

 I apologize for the bad photos it was night as

I was taking them and I did the best I could

(that's what happens when you are late with stuff!).
