Kraftin' Kimmie 12 Days of Krafty Handmade Giving - Day 7

Hello sweet friends and followers!

We are now on DAY 7 of the 12 Days of Krafty Handmade Giving

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE.

Today it's my turn to showcase something that I've

handmade in celebration of Christmas giving.

I made a small box to hold some of the amazing 

homemade sugar scrub that my friend Amy makes.

She gave me some of this for Christmas last year 

and I fell in love with how wonderful it is.

It's basically olive oil and sugar and then she adds

some scents to it as well - my FAV is mango coconut. 

She made a bunch more recent and I snatched them up 

to gift to my friends and coworkers to enjoy too!

  Here's a view from the side

 and from the top when the box is closed.

I used several sentiments from "Christmas Cheer Sentiments"

 and  "The Magic of Christmas" all over this box.
The darling gal in the tub is from a set that is now
completely sold out (sorry!) called Itty Bitty Friends.

Welcome back for another day of Christmas Chaos

at CATCH THE BUG CHALLENGES!

Today we have a terrific sketch to use to inspire you

for your family and friends - take a look"

So many possibilities with this one.  You can 

flip it, or substitute the circle shape for another,

dress it up or keep it simple.  Love it!

Here's my card to inspire you to play along with us.

As you can see I chose to follow the sketch quite literally

and kept it very simple.  This adorable image is called 

"Christmas Words - Jesus" and you can find it in the Bugaboo shop.

My Time to Craft #310 Christmas Animals

Hello friends and followers!

I'm happy you are here to visit me today!

Are you starting to get ready for Christmas?

Do you have your tree up?  

I'll be putting ours up this weekend and 

I can't wait to see how it looks.  

I still have presents to buy, and handmade gifts 

and more cards to make so I better get busy quick!

This next two weeks at My Time to Craft #310

we would like to see your crafty creations featuring

Christmas animals (really any animal will do as 

long as it is featured in a Christmas setting).

My card today features an adorable stamp from 

the set called "Just Chillin'"  and a sentiment from 

"Frosty Friends" by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. 

I added several subtle layers to this card.  There's a

dry embossed panel that I then added a large die cut

snowflake and then a die cut sentiment as well as a stamped

(and matted sentiment).  I also double matted the main 

image on top of the embossed panel.  I like how it turned out!

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #309 - Winter Birthday

Happy weekend krafty peeps!

Wow how time is flying by right now.  

Just a couple more weeks and it will be Christmas!

I don't know about you but I'm no where near ready yet.

I will be putting up my tree and decorations this weekend.

But I still have a lot of gifts to make and buy, cards to 

finish and the holiday baking that I love to do.  

Not sure how it's all gonna get done but I'm going

to try and enjoy it as much as I can :o).

I've been so impressed with the gifts so far and hope to try them all. 

Our THEME for this week's challenge is "Winter birthday".

I have several friends and family members with 

birthdays in December and January so I love the

opportunity to get a card done for one of them. 

My card today features the beautiful Snowball Fairy

from Kraftin' Kimmie - take a peek:

I actually surprised myself and used a monochromatic

color scheme.  I can only seem to do this when I don't

think about it.  When I'm told to use that my brain freezes LOL.

Can you see her sparkly wings and stars? It's kind of hard to see

in the photo but it's gorgeous IRL (courtesy of Wink of Stella pen).

I also added lots of bling with some clear rhinestones layered

on my snowy die cuts.  I think my recipient will love this card :o).
