Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #515 - Love/Friendship!!

Hello friends - happy Saturday! 

It's time for another weekly theme challenge at

 KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS.

Krafty Gal Allison is our hostess this time and 

the theme for Challenge #515 is LOVE/FRIENDSHIP!

What a great challenge or this time of year!

With Valentine's Day coming up soon I used the 

brand new YOU'RE GNAW-SOME! for my card.

Isn't this sweet couple perfect for a Valentine's card?

I think they would be cute on an anniversary card too. 

They are colored on kraft paper with Prismacolor pencils.

After fussy cutting them, I popped them up with foam dots. 

A last touch was a few of the KKS Lovey Dots.

After Christmas Christmas Card - Beary Big Hugs!

Hello friends and followers.

Once again I found myself scrambling in December 

to get enough Christmas cards done to send out. 

I LOVE making Christmas cards - but I also love

making cards for every other reasons (LOL) which puts

me behind when I need them.  

So...this year I'm going to try to make at least one Christmas

card a month. Hey 12 by December is better than 0 don't you agree?!

This is my first one using an adorable stamp set called 

BEARY BIG HUGS! by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Here's a little bit more about how I made this card:

The background is the negative (or reverse) side of 

a stencil that I had swirled a bunch of Nuevo glimmer

paste on.  I misted the panel as well as the paper

and pressed down the stencil as firmly and evenly 

as I could.  If you zoom in you can see the snowflakes.

I think a thinner paper (this is watercolor paper) might  have

shown details of the snowflakes better.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting by I really like it. 

The stencil is Sparkling Snowflakes (also by Kraftin' Kimmie). 

The blue tag is actually a recycled Christmas tag from

one of my packages.  I used it as a template to cut the 

second tag and then sponged all over it with Sparkling Sapphire

(KKS hybrid ink).  I pressed a bit hard a couple times 

to get more of a smudged look to match the background.

I forgot to tie on a piece of twine before I glued down the

white tag (shucks!) so I covered the hole with an enamel dot. 

Stamped a few extra snowflakes from the Snowflake Kisses 

(after sponging) and fussy cut the copic colored bear.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Anything Goes Challenge and January 2020 NEW RELEASE PEEKS Day Three!

It's DAY THREE of the January NEW RELEASE products

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!  

Forgive me if it seems as if I'm shouting - I'm just so excited

because this month is full of fantastic new things and

the theme is all about LOVE!!!

Today we are peeking HAPPY HEDGEHOGS

by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

Such a super fun set and so trendy right now.

I've always been kind of enamored and intrigued by

hedgehogs.  How about you?  

In addition to the sneak peeks today it's the start of
a new weekly challenge and the theme is...
ANYTHING GOES (as it always is on release week).
So create a card, scrapbook page, tag, 3D or altered
item.  Use any sketch, color scheme, or theme for
your creation and enter it in the challenge.  We LOVE to
see your creations - especially when you use your
KKS goodies!  The challenge goes until Jan 17th
(plenty of time to get krafty and enter.)
 

Now it's time for me to share my newest creation with you!
Each and every one of these chubby little hedgies are
super cute, but I must admit that I'm particularly fond 

of the one I used on my card today.  I think it's because

it seems that we share a similar love of reading! 

I used the NEW TIPPY TRIANGLES stencil to create 

the fun background with Salty Sea KKS hybrid ink.

I think it turned out so pretty!  

The sentiment was stamped with the NEW CRISP CRIMSON

hybrid ink (love the depth and richness of it!).  I finished 

it off with a few of those amazing HEARTS DOTS (swoon).  

And here's something else that's really exciting...

Kraftin' Kiimmie Stamps - January 2020 NEW RELEASE PEEKS - Day Two

Hello again! I'm so glad you're back today to see

the DAY TWO Sneak Peeks for this month's new release

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

If you saw yesterday's release peek you've probably figured 

out that the theme for this month's release is LOVE!

Our new stamp set featured today is
YOU'RE GNAW-SOME by artist Neda Sadreddin

is so perfect for Valentine's Day, anniversary,

and just a general "love you lots".

Here's my card to share with you today

I stamped one of the cute main images on an off-white

cardstock and then masked off a heart shape around it

so that I could stamps a bunch of hearts all over for the 

background.  The NEW KKS Hybrid Ink for this 

month is called CRISP CRIMSON - sooooo gorgeous!

And do you see those amazing heart shaped embellishments?

Those are the NEW HEART DOTS (swoon!) that come 

in three different shades of red and pink.

Hello all! I'm so excited to be starting another

awesome year of creating and sharing for 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

Today is DAY ONE of the fabulous 

January 2020 NEW RELEASE PEEKS!

This month is all about LOVE and so of course

I'm sure you are going to LOVE each new stamp set

and all the wonderful coordinating products!!

Our first set of the new year is by our super sweet

and very talented artist and krafty gal - Sabrina Van Vloten!!

It's called LOVE BUGS - soooooo cute!!!

My card features some of those gorgeous flowers

and a sweet little snail on the way to deliver a little love.

Use the Color BLUE!

My card features the super cute winter set called

ESKIMO PALS as the main image.  The 

sentiment is from Snow Buddies, and the tiny snowflakes 

are from Perky Penguins (stamped in Bubbly Blue).

I used the sketch from FMS#416 for my inspiration

(I just flipped the orientation).
