Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - NEW Release Peeks - DAY TWO!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set from artist Sabrina van Vloten called I BEE-lieve in YOU!

Look at those adorable fluffy bee bums!!

I'm so excited to share my peek of this

super cute stamp set.  

This little bee reminds me of a fluffy tan

bear who also loves honey.  The fantastic

new layering stencil is so perfect for this

stamp set - so I used it too!

The bees were colored in with 

Yummy Yellow, Salty Sea and Wicked

Black inks. Then I added some 

black gel pen to the eyes and some 

ultra fine glitter to the wings. 

I love the stencil so much that I 

wanted to let make it the focus of

 a second card with one of the 

sentiments from the stamp set.

Mermaid Friends!

 Hello!

It's the month of May (it may snow, it may rain, it may be sunny)

and it's a great time to celebrate with Mermaids

(since it's also Mer-May in lots of crafting circles).

I saw the gorgeous color inspiration from 

The Color Throwdown Challenge #793

 and decided that I needed to play along this week.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps also has a challenge theme

(one of 3 to choose from) that inspired me.  

I used the "Use Bright Colors" theme from that challenge.

Here's my card for these challenges

Although it's difficult to see, I added a spritz

(or 10) of soft, shimmery glitter over the top of the

stenciled panel to make it feel more "magical".

The stamp set, Mermaid Friends, and the 

gorgeous Mermaid Scales stencil as well as the

ink I used (Tranquil Teal) are all from 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

I colored the beautiful mermaid and her sweet friend

with copic markers (BG45, BG53, YR09, YR07, YR04,

V12, V15, V17 and BG 70, BG72).

For a final touch of sparkle, I added some 

gems from Pink Fresh Studios.

I created my card using the “things that hop” prompt.

I began with the wonderful

new LAYERS OF EGGS

Stencil with Blue Bay ink

on the base layer of the stencil and Purple Pansy over the top of the second layer (the layer that decorates the eggs). 

The star of the card is a sweet bunny from the

FAWN’D OF YOU!

stamp set,  

and the sentiment is 

from the New Beginnings 

stamp set.

I love how KKS products are so easy and fun to mix and match!

Today I'm sharing another card

using the New Beginnings stamp set.

The background panel was made

by first sponging some Distress Oxide ink

on a panel and then using some Solar 

Paste (Golden Hour) over the top of

the Krafty Kaleidoscope stencil.

Isn't it pretty?! I wish you could 

see it in real life! 

I colored this sweet bunny and

the egg with copic markers and 

then added some glitter and Nuvo drops.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - January 2024 NEW Release - Day Two!

    Welcome back to Day TWO of our January Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

 You're Swan-derful! 

These sweet swans and their accessories are going to be perfect for so many occasions! Mother's Day, Anniversary, Valentines or a special, swan-derful friend! 

I think this is just the sweetest stamp set.

The large and baby swan are perfect for 

a Mother's Day card - so that's what I made:

The background panel was made by brushing

Precious Pink ink (which happens to be the

special Ink of the Month) for the base layer

of the two piece stencil, and then adding

a little bit of Pretty in Pink for the second

layer of details to add to the hearts.

Challenge #673 - Mid Month Inspiration - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Pumpkins & Stencils!

I get the pleasure of being the mid-month challenge hostess today and here's my card!

Can you guess what my favorite thing about fall is

from my card today? I have a love of all things

pumpkin!  Each and every one of them is unique

(just like snowflakes in winter).  We love to 

decorate with them, carve them up on Halloween

and of course have all kinds of pumpkin baked

treats and special drinks! YUM - so YUM!

Keeping in line with the challenge themes

I used the Autumn Pumpkins stamp set

and the gorgeous Pumpkin Patch layering stencil!

To create this background, I first sprayed the stencil

with some Goblin Green ink re-inker (mixed with a little water)

and turned it over onto a piece of white cardstock.

Once that panel dried, I laid the first piece of the stencil

on that panel and then used it as an embossing

piece to get the raised pumpkins on the cardstock.

After embossing, I then used the stencil again to 

ink the pumpkins with Pumpkin Patch ink.  

This technique gives it such a great texture and 

detail with the raised and colored parts. 

Lastly I used the second piece of the stencil 

to ink the peduncles (stems) and leaves.

I really love how it turned out! 

To finish the card I added a couple layered

oval die cuts and the row of pumpkins that

I colored with my copic markers and then 

fussy-cut to put on the panel.

I'm excited to share my creation using 

Wrapped in Love!  Here it is...

I colored this little cutie with copic markers.

The background panel was made with the

Holly stencil.  I traced around the stencil 

template with a regular pencil and then 

colored the leaves and berries with 

Prismacolor pencils.  The blue in between

the berries was colored in with the 

Prismacolor pencils and a crayon.

I love this sweet little stamp! 

For my inspiration I decided to create a cozy scene for these two squeak-hearts. The Brick Wall stencil with Crisp Crimson and Marvellous Mocha inks made the perfect background.
