August/September Release RECAP! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

 

This weekend we are having a very special

RELEASE RECAP EVENT!!

In case you missed it, our most recent release featured
FOUR brand new stamp sets and TWO sets of layering stencils and we're going to celebrate them today!

We have a blog hop that starts at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog and the Krafty Design Team has all new projects featuring the latest krafty goodies! You can also find links to each of their blogs below. 

So grab a beverage and sit back to enjoy all the inspiration!  The team will also be sharing them in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group and on other social media channels!

Every year the fall releases are my favorite

and this year that is still true.

My hop card features the newest Krafty Komeback

stamp set called HEY THERE, PUNKIN!

The background panel of this card 

was made by inking the  

base layer of the Pumpkin Patch stencil

(this is a 2 piece layering stencil)

with KKS Pumpkin Patch ink   

and then lightly spritzing it with a spray

made with water and the 

KKS Pumpkin Patch reinker 

 before gently placing a piece of 

cardstock down on it to absorb the ink. 

The sentiment is from Pumpkin Kisses 

that I masked and stamped twice to get 

the two colors (Wicked Black &

Fresh Fields).

Here's a close up of the colored image. 

I used copic markers and popped the image 

on the card with some foam dots.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - September Monthly Challenge

Good morning and welcome to our 
New Monthly Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Are you ready for another krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative mojo going? We've got some fabulous prompts for you and can't wait to see what YOU create!

This month our challenge themes for you are:

Back to School/Primary Colours and/or Circles

You can choose one theme or combine them!
Enter as many times as you like all month long!
It's a Choose Your Own Krafty Adventure!

I've chosen theme of Primary Colours 

(Red, Yellow and Blue) for this month's challenge. 

AHOY SAILOR! is one of favorite stamp 

sets and I felt it's nautical theme would

be perfect for these colors.  I'm also

channeling a back to school vibe (more

for college level) with the sentiment.

 

The sky was made with the 

Krafty Scenery 4 stencil and some

Designer Denim ink. I used the

Krafty Scenery 3 stencil for the ocean

(filled in with copic markers in B26 & B24).

The subtle texture in the background

is the Rugged Rope stencil used

as an embossing panel.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Skrappy Challenge - September 2024

Good morning, my Krafty Friends!

It's September and that means it's time for a new
Skrappy Challenge
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!  So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

Saturday Challenge and the Christmas Challenge in the Krafty Friends FB group! So feel free to enter any or all of these - the monthly prize is a $20 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!  Woohoo!  To enter, be sure to upload your photo to the September album in our Krafty Friends FB group.  

I love the KKS Skrappy Challenges because 

it's so fun to use my stamps, stencils and inks

in different ways.  More inky playtime and projects

means more krafty happiness!

This month I used the Fruity Fun! and

Our Farm! stamp sets as added embellishments

on a scrapbook page.  

The watermelon stamp was transformed

into a honeydew melon by masking off

the seeds and stamping in Totally Taupe

ink.  Copic markers in E40 and YG21

were used to color the outside rind.

I added the little farmer stamp because this

page is about a new and very delicious

find at the Farmer's Market.

This paper has been sitting my stash

for ages - I thought it was perfect for this page!
