LOTS of LOVE! - Embossed Valentine

I'm sharing a card I made tonight that literally took me
seven minutes to make.  I had this gorgeous embossed
cast away panel on my desk for months.
I recently won the an entire release of essential dies
from Pinkfresh Studio.  I've been using them a lot
lately but the heart shaped one is my favorite
right now as Valentine's day is coming up.

I swooped some gold ink across the top of the
raised image and heat set it.  Then I added
the heart die cut.  The sentiment and backer die
are also from Pinkfresh. I think I may have
purchased them last year for Valentine's day
but never used them.  Maybe they aren't that old,
I honestly can't remember but it's a shame
they weren't used sooner because they
are beautiful and can be used for more
than Valentine's day.   So... enough
gabbing - here's my card.

Isn't the stitching around the heart pretty?
I layered the sentiment letters on a vellum backer.

This is my last entry for the January 2022
I chose the April 2021 theme of Gold.

I'm also entering this card in the Krafty Chicks Challenge #596 - All Occassions

Thanks for popping in to see my card.
Hope you are having a great day whereever you are!

Pinkfresh Studio - January 2022 Challenge - celebrate you!

Oh hello again! I'm back with another card
I had a great crafty day and was able to make not one but three
cards for this challenge.  It ends in two days so I had to
get 'er done if I wanted to play along!

This time for the January 2021 recap theme
I picked November and the wreath theme.
I used the Daisy Wreath stncil again
(I absolutely LOVE this gorgeous stencil)
and the coordinating die cut.
I also used the beautiful Essentials Folk Art dies,
the Plaid stencil, several of the pretty inks,
a pre-cut, pre-foiled sentiment (so
awesome as I don't yet have a hot foil machine)
and some of the stunning blingy PF jewels.

Here's my card:

Here's a couple other views

I struggle a little with placement of bling.
I seriously overthink it. Do you do that too?
Seriously though it shouldn't be such a
struggle when it's this pretty - just add lots!

Thanks for visiting me today (again)! D

Pinkfresh Studio - January 2022 Challenge "2021 Recap" - Daisy Wreath

Hello! Hope you are doing well today!

I'm sharing one of the cards that I made for the
where the theme is "2021 Recap".
What fun to be able to choose from any of
the previous months challenges of 2021.
I wanted to do them all! But, since I usually
struggle to even get one entered in a normal month
I decided to focus on using a stencil that
I really, really wanted but has been sitting in
my crafty stash for too long.
This is for the March 2021 recap theme of Flowers.

This card features the Daisy Wreath Stencil
and the Essentials Folk Edge Rectangle Dies
I also used several of the Pinkfresh inks
(that I was so happy to finally get!), and one of
the pre-foiled, pre-cut sentiments along with
some beautiful bling from the PF jewels.
Take a peek (I apologize for the poor photo -
really bad light in my house at night).

I hope you like it! I loved making it.
