Autism Awareness Day - Light it Up Blue Blog Hop

Today is World Autism Awareness Day


and I have made a card to share in the
Light It Up Blue For Autism Awareness Blog Hop!

My life has been touched in two ways by autism -
first by the boy (now young man) that my son has been
working with for several years now, and second by the
way in which I have watched my son interact, teach, care for
and form an amazing bond with this special young man.
I believe that my son has gained as much from this pairing
as the young man he as been working with.

Here's my Krafty Guest card using an image from this great set:

 I found this embossing folder in my stash and felt it was 

perfect for both this image and sentiment.

As I plan to give this to my Dad for Father's Day,

I also decided to keep it kind of simple (limited embellies)

and stick to a monochromatic coloring of this image.

Not something I do very often - but really love how it turned out!

 You'll find so many amazing creations on today's hop
featuring both new images and sentiments from this new STEAMPUNK set!
