Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge # Make Your Own Background

Hello lovely friends and followers!

It's time for another weekly theme challenge

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

The theme for Challenge #554 is "Make Your Own Background"

My daughter in law and I played with some alcohol inks

for the first time and made several beautiful backgrounds.

My card features one of them as well as the Solid Holiday

and Christmas Cheer Sentiments stamp sets.

 The solid stamps work so great for picking up the 

alcohol inks off the panel and then stamping on 

a piece of white cardstock.  I used Yupo shiny

paper for the background.  LOVE how it turned out.

We started getting snow (lots of it) last night

and it's still going.  A great excuse to stay inside

and get crafty I think!   I'm going to be working on

another special release coming up at the end of 

the month for Kraftin' Kimmie.

Winter Scenery - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October peek Day 3 and Anything Goes Challenge

Hello my awesome crafty peeps. Thanks for popping in to visit me!

As crazy as it seems we are at the last day of the sneak

peeks of the October release products at 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

Have you enjoyed the peeks from the first two days?

Well hang on to your hats because today is sure to

be a favorite for many of you.  It's a very special set to

us because it's designed by our very own krafty gal

and (now stamp artist) Allison Cope!  It's called

Winter Scenery and it's GORGEOUS! 

 

The possibilities are endless for creating your own scenes

and backgrounds.  It has trees, buildings and landscape

elements - all covered in snow.  Great for winter or Christmas!

My card features one of the building and the row of trees.

I created the background with the brand NEW

Amazing Azure hybrid ink (love this one!) and a 

few of the NEW Dazzling Dots. 

The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings stamp set.

There's a few swooshes of Yummy Yellow and 

Stormy Sky  inks in the main blue panel too.

Krafty Elves - October Sneak peek for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Happy Thursday (aka Almost Friday)!

It's a special week at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS

as we start the peeks of the October new release!

Today through Saturday you see lots of inspiration with

peeks of a new stamp set (and the other goodies) each day!

I'm ready to share it with YOU!

Our first new stamp set of October 2020 

is by artist Sabrina VanVloten!

It's called KRAFTY ELVES!

This special set "might" look a little familiar as it

was a special release that was part of the

swag bags for the recent Krafty Virtual Fall Retreat. 

Some of the lucky participants have already used 

and shared a few of their creations with it in 

the Kraftin' Kimmie Friends Facebook Group. 

This set is just way too sweet and perfect for the 

Christmas holidays! Take a look:

Not only does it have three elves getting ready

 for Christmas with their crafts and baking,

there's also an adorable sentiment for both

the front AND the back of your card! 

And just look at the little extras - pencils, 

paints and a gingerbread cookie! So FUN!

My card today features the builder elf from the 

set and the NEW So Many Squares Stencil 

and some of the NEW Dazzling Dots.

I used the following other KKS products too:

Granite Grey, Goblin Green & Charming Chartreuse hybrid inks.

Did you know that Granite Grey is the ink of the month

and on SALE this month?  It's awesome for creating

subtle backgrounds, no-lines coloring and softer sentiments. 

If you don't have it - now is a great time to get it. 

I taped off a portion of one of the sentiments from 

The Magic of Christmas sentiments set to get just the 

"CHRISTMAS" below my die cut word. 

All the new goodies will be available for purchase

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Skrappy Challenge October 2020

Hello all! Today I'm sharing a creation made for this month's

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

What's a Skrappy Challenge you might ask?

It's a special monthly challenge where we want to see you

make ANYTHING BUT A CARD. 

A scrapbook page, a journal spread, planner decorations,

tags, place cards, wrapping paper, treat bags, ATC card, 

bookmarks, 3D project, etc.

Remember no cards but otherwise the sky is the limit.

Grab your KKS goodies and start creating. 

We need at least 5 people playing along to give out

a $10 prize to spend in the KKS Store. 

You have until November 2nd to enter your creation

either in the blog link or in the special album

in the Krafty Friends Facebook Group. 

I can't wait to see what you make to share with us!

With Halloween coming soon I thought it would be

fun to make a wreath for my office door at work.

It's about 15" in diameter so it was difficult to 

get a very good photo. 

Here's a close up of the middle

I used the Creepy Cobweb stencil (Wicked Black ink)

for the middle piece.  The sentiment is from 

Pumpkin Kisses (inked with Pumpkin Patch ink)

and that spooky and cute gal is from Spooky Suckers. 

My lovely Krafty DT pals shown below also have some

inspiration to share with you.  I think they've really 

outdone themselves this time.  I'd love to try some 

of their projects and creations too!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Krafty Komeback and a Challenge

Today is World Card Making Day! What a great way to start a new month!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #550 - "Things with Wings"

Happy happy weekend! The last Saturday of September - wow!

Saturday's are the start of a new weekly challenge theme at

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

Our theme this week for Challenge #550 is...

THINGS WITH WINGS. 

My card features the stamp set called It's Turkey Day!

Look at that adorable and quirky turkey!  

Does he look a bit nervous to you? LOL

I stamped the images with Marvellous Mocha hybrid ink

and colored the images with copic markers.

Then I added a few of  the NEW little Christmas enamel dots.
