I'm sharing two cards with you today using 

AIR MAIL!

Here's the first with the adorable bunny in the airplane

I made this card for my Dad who used

to own his own small plane. 

The striped background panel was 

made with the Diagon-illy stencil

and Crisp Crimson KKS hybrid ink.  

My second card features the adorable

monkey astronaut headed to another planet.

The background was made with the

amazing OUT OF THIS WORLD! stencil

and several different lunar pastes.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release! Final day of the Krafty Peeks! Hey There, Punkin!

 Good morning and welcome to our
FINAL day of AUGUST Krafty Peeks!

Today we are revealing our last stamp set which will be releasing tomorrow afternoon at 3pm ET along with all our other stamp sets and stencils!

Today we are revealing...a Krafty Komeback!!

 It's called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'!

It was originally released in 2014!

For those who are new around these parts, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be celebrating 15 years this fall so we have a lot of retired images most people have never seen before!  (And there are lots of requests for past stamp sets!) So once in a while we bring a set back and this one will be back this weekend!

There are SOoooo many of the Cheryl Grant designed

stamp sets that I love but this one was one of my

absolute favorites.  In fact my cards for this release

were made with the original rubber stamp set. 

I don't think that I'll ever be able to part with it!

I love the new clear version too as it has a couple

different sentiments that are just perfect for the

adorable kiddo images.  So of course, I'll need 

to have the newest one also!  IYKYK!! LOL.

I'm starting off by sharing the first card I made

for this new release peek.  It's my favorite 

trick or treater, Lucas and his trusty pup. 

Take a peek....

The super fun (and not too spooky) background 

was made with the Ghoulish Ghosts stencil

and Purple Petunia and Magical Midnight 

KKS hybrid inks.  Most of the purple got

covered up by the main image (oops!) but 

if you zoom in you can see a little of it

peeking out at the top. 

Fun fact...the KKS hybrid inks can be used

with any medium (watercolors, alcohol markers,

color pencils) and are available in either 

a large pad or an ink cube version (with

refills).  These inks blend beautifully together

and are a staple in my cardmaking collection. 

You can find all these inks and this fun stencil in the shop.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release Peeks - DAY 3! Sweet and Spooky!

 Good morning and welcome to
 Day THREE
of our August Krafty Peeks!

If you've been with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps any amount of time, you know that August is always our Fall/Halloween Release so that you have lots of time to order, receive and create your new goodies for the season!

So today we have an adorable new Halloween stamp set for you by artist Sabrina van Vloten called

SWEET & SPOOKY!

Okay so COME ON! how super CUTE is this?!

I LOVE cute (not too spooky) halloween stamps

and decorations!  This on has completely stolen 

my heart.  I made FIVE cards with it almost

immediately after opening my DT package! 

Here's the first one I'm sharing with you today.

To create this card, I started by stamping each

of these images in the designated spaces

and then created a mask with sticky notes 

so that I could ink the background around

them using Purple Pansy and Gorgeous Grape

KKS hybrid inks.  Don't these colors create

a beautiful blend? I love the way it looks

like a spooky night (at least in my opinion lol).

Each of the stamped images were colored with 

copic markers (ghosts are so easy to color) 

and then the entire postage diecut piece

was layered on black cardstock

before adhering it to the white card base.   

Here's another of the cards I made. This time

that haunted house is the star of the card. 

The faces on those little jack o' lanterns 

are so fun!  I added some sparkle to the

webs and the web patterns of the house

but unfortunately it doesn't show up

well in this photo.

called Little Monsters!  It's perfect for those

cute Halloween creations that I love to make.

Check out what I made with it!

OMG and look how perfectly this sentiment

goes with the stamp!  The sentiment is just one from the 

Monster Sentiments stamp set.  It made it just a tiny

bit spooky I think.  My daughter will love this

as she loves the Walking Dead (NOT me!).

The background was created with several

distress oxide sprays on glossy paper. 

The sentiment is stamped with 

Alluring Amethyst hybrid ink.  

Isn't it FUN?? and Cute!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Challenge #646 - Use a Diecut or Ephemera

This week, Krafty Girl Keri is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

USE A DIECUT OR EPHEMERA!

Oh this is an interesting one! I have so many pieces of ehpemera that at just sitting in a bin waiting to be used. Raise your hand if you too are guilty of this. I promise not to shame you as some of these I've had for more than ten years (gasp!).  I had planned to use this awesome dimensional tag on a Halloween scrapbook page at one time but came upon it as I was digging through my Halloween themed crafty stash and knew immediately that I wanted to use it on a card for this challenge!  Here's what I came up with...

The Bats and Moons stencil was the perfect background to use on this card.  I added the ephemera tag and a few matt enamel dots. 

Then I repeated the stencil pattern on the inside of the card, and added a sentiment from Monster Sentiments and a stamped image from the NEW Little Monsters stamp set.  That beautiful purple in is the new Alluring Amethyst hybrid ink color. Isn't it swoon-worthy?!
