Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release! Final day of the Krafty Peeks! Hey There, Punkin!

 Good morning and welcome to our
FINAL day of AUGUST Krafty Peeks!

Today we are revealing our last stamp set which will be releasing tomorrow afternoon at 3pm ET along with all our other stamp sets and stencils!

Today we are revealing...a Krafty Komeback!!

 It's called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'!

It was originally released in 2014!

For those who are new around these parts, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be celebrating 15 years this fall so we have a lot of retired images most people have never seen before!  (And there are lots of requests for past stamp sets!) So once in a while we bring a set back and this one will be back this weekend!

There are SOoooo many of the Cheryl Grant designed

stamp sets that I love but this one was one of my

absolute favorites.  In fact my cards for this release

were made with the original rubber stamp set. 

I don't think that I'll ever be able to part with it!

I love the new clear version too as it has a couple

different sentiments that are just perfect for the

adorable kiddo images.  So of course, I'll need 

to have the newest one also!  IYKYK!! LOL.

I'm starting off by sharing the first card I made

for this new release peek.  It's my favorite 

trick or treater, Lucas and his trusty pup.

The super fun (and not too spooky) background 

was made with the Ghoulish Ghosts stencil

and Purple Petunia and Magical Midnight 

KKS hybrid inks.  Most of the purple got

covered up by the main image (oops!) but 

if you zoom in you can see a little of it

peeking out at the top. 

Fun fact...the KKS hybrid inks can be used

with any medium (watercolors, alcohol markers,

color pencils) and are available in either 

a large pad or an ink cube version (with

refills).  These inks blend beautifully together

and are a staple in my cardmaking collection. 

You can find all these inks and this fun stencil in the shop.

Today I'm sharing another card using

the Krafty Komeback stamp set

You're So Cool! and the new

Wooly Winter stencil and 

Tranquil Teal ink. 

I also added some of the gorgeous

Festive Fuschia ink to the stenciled panel.

I colored in the hearts and stripes with copics.

The sentiment is heat embossed in silver

for a more frosty winter feel.  

Do you love it? I sure hope so!

Here's my card to share with you today

I really had fun making with this card. 

First I masked over my stamped image and then

used the inside of the largest oval to add the 

Mellow Mustard ink.  After that I used the large oval

masking piece and put that down over the inked 

area using pixie spray so it would stay put.  

Then I sponged some Sandy Shores ink all over 

the panel and laid the Woodgrain stencil over the top

of all that.  Next I worked on the wood background and 

sponged a layer of Marvellous Mocha ink through the 

Woodgrain stencil.  I gave it a few minutes to dry

and then added some texture paste over the stencil. To get 

that color several drops of the Rich Rust ink refill was

added to the white texture paste. Loved how it turned out.

This handy guy is going to a family friend for his 

60th birthday.  He loves to create with wood in his

garage and has LOTS of tools.  Perfect for him!

Is it just me or does this make you think of the 

start of the James Bond 007 movies?? LOL.

everything will be released at our LIVE April Release Party 

on Saturday, April 17th @ 2 pm ET in the Krafty Friends group!

Challenge #555 and a Krafty Komeback - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Hello friends! Happy Halloween and last day of October 2020!

It will definitely be a different Halloween here thanks to COVID.

But...I'm not going to focus on that!  Instead I'm going to focus

on the FUN News that there is another Krafty Komeback happening

this weekend and I'm super excited about it!!

Before I get to that though - I also want to tell you about 

the new weekly challenge theme that is starting today too.

Challenge #555 theme is CUTE or SCARY! 

I'm not a Scary Halloween type person at all but 

I do love me some CUTE HALLOWEEN images/decorations.

My card features the TOO CUTE TO SPOOK! stamp

set and Ghoulish Ghosts stencil. Take a look

I used the KKS hybrid ink in Purple Petunia with the stencil. 

AND NOW!!!!! Here's a look at the KRAFTY KOMEBACK

stamp set called BELIEVE IN YOUR ELF!  

This particular stamp set made it's debut in 2012

in the rubber format.  It's been in the KKS retired 

vault for the past few years but now IT'S BAAACK

and in the fabulous photopolymer clear stamp version.

I love the look on the face of these elves.

Pure Joy and Pure confusion hahaha. 

This awesome Christmas stamp set will be in 

the KKS Shop for purchase this morning at 10AM EST!

You are gonna want this one - sooo much fun to color!

Are you ready to see it???  It's called YOU'RE A SCREAM! 

I cannot express how very happy I am that this set is back!

I made two cards to share with you today.  Here's the first

using Lucas the Mummy and the new Gorgeous Gauze stencil

(and some of the new Halloween dots).  I colored him with 

prisma color pencils on kraft paper.  Inks used are the

NEW Tempting Tangerine and Purple Pansy hybrid inks 

My second card features Lexi the Spider.

That big ol' purple spider web around her is 

made with foil and the Creepy Cobweb stencil.

This is my first attempt at using foil with the 

Duo Transfer gel (no heat required).  I learned a couple

things in the process but am happy with how it turned out. 

I also used the new Halloween dots and Tempting Tangerine ink.

We've put together a fun krafty hop for you 

featuring this Komeback set and  promotion. 

There's also a new challenge this week and the 

theme is ANYTHING GOES!  Playing along in 

our challenges gives you a chance at the monthly
