4 Crafty Chicks Challenges {4CC #344} - Crazy Egg/Anything Goes

Well here it is the end of March and my 

last post as a guest designer for 

4 CRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGES! 

It's been such a fun month of challenges and 

again I'm so thankful to the lovely chicks 

for inviting me to play alongside them! 

This last challenge of March is #344 CRAZY EGG!

That means ANYTHING GOES is the theme!

Here's my card to share with you today -
I gave this to a friend for her birthday recently.

All the products used on this card are from 

Stampin' Up!  I love this soft Sugarplum color!

Krafty Komeback "Brigette"

It's time for a Krafty Komeback at
KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

Lots of the rubber stamp sets have long retired and are no longer available
for purchase anymore. BUT...Kimmie has switched some things up
and re-released a few of your favorites in the awesome clear version!
 Today we're announcing another one - It's BRIGETTE!
And...she's already in the Krafty Shop!!

She was one of the most popular images from artist Annie Rodrigue!

 She looks so relaxed soaking in that sumptuous bubble bath - 

AND she's so much fun to color! Do you know someone who needs 

to take time for themselves and to RELAX? Maybe it's you!
I know a reminder for myself is not a bad idea.

4 Crafty Chicks Challenges {4CC #343} - Punches or Dies

Wow! The month of March is just well...

Marching right along!  I can't believe there's only 

two weeks left of it already!  

Soon it will be Easter! 

This week the theme challenge at 

4 CRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGES 

 4CC #343 (chosen by Lori) is Punches or Dies!

Ohhhh this is a favorite one for me! 

I love to use both as often as I can! 

Especially dies that coordinate with stamped images 

such as these adorable "Peep" bunnies that  I used on my card

 The bunnies are from last year's Simon Says Stamp March 

stamp kit (yes it took me that long to actually use it - shameful!).

The stitched panels are from dies (Lawn Fawn) as are the bunnies

 and their bows (Simon Says Stamp).  The grass is a punch 

(Martha Stewart)  which I then ran the punched strip through

the Big Shot again with the stitched rectangle for the bottom part. 

The plaid paper (Echo Park) and sequins were also in the kit.

The pretty springy inks are from Stampin' Up! 

Here's the finished inside too

Peeps on cards are really the only type of Peeps I like.

I think I ate too many of them once when I was young

and haven't been able to touch them since - lol.

But I sure do think they make cute Easter cards!

Happy Birthday Big Guy

Hi friends! Hope your Monday has been a good one!

A little while ago I colored this awesome stamped image

from SugarPea Designs called "Stay Strong" as part of 

The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

and tonight I got him on a finished card and
can enter it in the challenge now.
 Are you ready to see it?
I'm delighted to share it with you!

I mentioned that I had colored the stamped image earlier.

Then I used the coordinating die to cut him out

and place on this layout.  The background panel was 

created by using the bouncing brayer technique.  

Isn't he handsome? :o)  I knew I had to have this

stamp as soon as I saw it!

4 Crafty Chicks Challenges {4CC #342} - Buttons

Hello friends and followers! 

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you who

are Irish and/or celebrate this holiday :o).  

I'm still enjoying my month of guest designing 

with the 4 CRAFTY CHICK CHALLENGES!

 This week our hostess is Tamie and she has chosen

BUTTONS as the theme for 4CC #342. 

Buttons are something I don't use very often on my 

cards and yet I have a pretty good sized stash of them.

I love the look of them on cards but I really struggle

with placement and adhering them properly.  

I feel like I did a fairly good job on this card

(and I used 6 of them out of my stash!) - take a look!

This cute little fella is peeping through the front panel.

The paper (12 x 12 panel) is from Doodlebug Design Inc.

 - one of my favorite companies for fun patterned papers.  

It's been in my stash for over a year and I've finally

used it to make 2 cards :o).

The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge & Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #59

Hello friends and followers!  I've been coloring a little

something every day this month as part of 

The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge (March 2017).

The idea is to color something every day this month - 

even if it's just for a few minutes.    

So far I've been successful with the coloring part

but have only actually finished two cards to share.

On Day 7 I colored the tiny little sun shown below. 

Today - Day 15 - I had some fun water coloring 

the background panel and finished this card

using the little sun I has colored earlier too!

This adorable stamp set is from Your Next Stamp. 

It's called Little Notes and it also has coordinating dies.

I used the YNS Sketch Challenge #59 for my design.
