Inspirational Wednesday - My Type!

 Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

I get the pleasure today of being the 

featured designer and to share not

one but TWO cardsthat I made 

using the really fun and versatile

MY TYPE! stamp set.

This stamp set was first introduced

in January 2021.  I have had it 

in my collection just waiting 

to ink it up and give it some love

for a very long time!  But, today is the

day krafty peeps - so let the sharing 

commence.  Before I do that I want

to make sure to tell you that you'll

Here's my first card...

Oh my goodness...isn't that typewriter

just the cutest?  It looks like it's smiling! 

The background was made with the 

Geo 1 stencil and Ruby Red ink. 

I love this stamp because it reminds

me of the letters that my Grandma

used to type and send to me.

I still have many of those letters

(typos and all - lol).  This was 

before it was so easy to make 

a FaceTime call and you had to

wait for the snail mail to arrive. 

I honestly miss that very much. 

And...here's my second card. 

This time I used three of the sentiments and 

the sheet of paper stamp.  With a little bit 

of masking magic I was able to add 

one of the sweet litle mice (from the

Krafty Mice stamp set which was 

released last month) next to one of

the sheets of paper.   The background

was made with the Mountains of Mail 

stencil and Mostly Melon and 

Party Peach inks. 

This one also reminds me of my Grandma

and a special pen pal I had as a 

pre-teenager.  I didn't have a typewriter

so my letters were also written by 

hand and I loved to use colored pens

or pencils when I could.  

I had so much fun with this stamp set -

the ideas were just flying out of my head.

I actually made three cards with this

set, but I'm waiting to share that one 

for another time.

Royal Family - Inspirational Wednesday

Hi everyone! It's Inspirational Wednesday 

over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I'm 

sharing a mini slimline box card that I made using 

three of the adorable images from the Royal Family! stamp set

which you'll find on sale at 40% off all week!

The sentiment on the front of the card is from 

DREAM CASTLE (another of my favorites and one 

that coordinates really well with the Royal Family stamp set).

While mini slimline cards are my current favorite type

to make, this is the first mini slimline box card I've made.

I used the Mini Slimline Outside the Box dienamics from

MFT Stamps for the base of my card.  I added

the grass with another die from my stash. 

After I colored the stamped images with copic markers,

I fussy cut around the images so I could stand them

up in the box structure.  

Here's a few photos of this card 

This box card folds flat, but is a bit thick so it 

will take extra postage. 

It's a fun surprise when the receipient tries to open

it and it just "pops" out into the box shape.

Inspirational Wednesday - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Cuddles the Puppy

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Wednesdays are my second favorite day of the week

(right after Saturday!) and they are always 

special at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES

because the DT gets to select a stamp set to

showcase and inspire you.  What's

even more fantastic than that is that Kimmie

then puts that stamp set on SALE!  Whoop whoop!

Today it's my turn to be your inspirational enabler

and I chose the Uber Adorable CUDDLES THE PUPPY.

Cuddles The Puppy is such a perfect and fun set for 

the dog/puppy lovers in your life.  Recently several

families I know have gotten new puppies so I thought

I'd make them a card to help them celebrate.
It's the furry version of a New Baby card.

Inspirational Wednesday - Darling Dragons! - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday!

If you're anything like me you are 

happy you've reached mid-work week and 

can hardly wait for the weekend. LOL.

I get the pleasure of being your hostess for 

INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenges.

Today I chose a sweet little set that I actually 

didn't buy right away when it came out.

Finally I couldn't stand it any more and decided

that I had to add it to my collection.  Boy I'm

sure glad that I did - I LOVE it!  It's called

Darling Dragons and here's my inspiration card.

I masked the balloon stamp to get the set of three. 

The clouds were made with the Krafty Scenery Stencil

(one of my favorite stencils - if you don't have this one you should!) 

and the Bubbly Blue hybrid ink.  I also used one edge of

the stencil to get the grass line and then filled in the rest

with my copic markers for the detail.

Inspirational Wednesday - Perky Penguins

Hello krafty friends! 

It's time for another Inspirational Wednesday
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Each Wednesday one of the talented Krafty Krew DT members inspire you to get creative with your krafty stamps.

This week it's my turn to share and I've made a 

sparkly winter creation (in honor of all this

crazy snow we are getting in the states) using the

super duper adorable PERKY PENGUINS stamp set. 

If winter were as fun as this card makes it feel

I'd stop complaining about all the snow (and cold)

we are getting blasted with in Montana - LOL!

I used the SPARKLING SNOWFLAKE STENCIL with 

some BoBunny glitter paste on the background.  The glitter

paper was in my stash. I was completely surprised at

how well the paper and past matched up.  

I also used the LOVELY LAGOON hybrid

ink for the stamped snowflakes.  

Oh and guess what??? The stamp set featured in 

the Inspirational Wednesday is on SALE all week

in the Krafty Shop!  So waddle on over (or maybe just
