Guest Designer - Krafty Chicks Challenges #448 - Coffee, Tea, Cocoa

Hello!  Today is my last week as a Guest Designer
What a fun month this has been for me!
Thanks to all the Chicks for having me in the hen house.

The theme this week is near and dear to my heart
I love all three of these things but most especially
Coffee.  I'm not even human in the morning until
I've  had at least 2 big cups of joe!
Then I usually have a cup of tea with honey before bed
to relax me and unwind.
Cocoa and buttered toast is a favorite snack at my house
(especially in the winter).
So as you can now tell, this theme is definitely in
my wheel-house.  For my last guest designer card
I chose a super cute set from Your Next Stamp
called Sprinkles - Coffee and Tea for this challenge.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Just Us Girls - Photo Week #480

I was inspired by the birthday theme
(what goes better with cake than coffee or tea?)
Sketch Saturday Week #556

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge #110 - Pastels
Jo's Scrap Shack Fun Friday Challenge #274 - Always Anything Goes
STAMPlorations March Challenge - Stamps & Coffee/Tea

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Anything Goes (3/27)
Little Red Wagon Challenge #490 - Hop to It!
Mod Squad Challenges - Pastel Fun

So that's all from me today! Thanks so much for
taking the time to stop in and visit me! Hugs! D

The sweet stamp set is called

Inspirational Wednesday - Perky Penguins

Hello krafty friends!
It's time for another Inspirational Wednesday
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Each Wednesday one of the talented Krafty Krew DT members inspire you to get creative with your krafty stamps.

This week it's my turn to share and I've made a
sparkly winter creation (in honor of all this
crazy snow we are getting in the states) using the
super duper adorable PERKY PENGUINS stamp set.

If winter were as fun as this card makes it feel
I'd stop complaining about all the snow (and cold)
we are getting blasted with in Montana - LOL!

I used the SPARKLING SNOWFLAKE STENCIL with
some BoBunny glitter paste on the background.  The glitter
paper was in my stash. I was completely surprised at
how well the paper and past matched up.
I also used the LOVELY LAGOON hybrid
ink for the stamped snowflakes.

Oh and guess what??? The stamp set featured in
the Inspirational Wednesday is on SALE all week
in the Krafty Shop!  So waddle on over (or maybe just
click the link hahaha) and grab it for  yourself!

I'm entering my card in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping in the visit me today.
I hope I've inspired you to go get creative and krafty!
Stay warm and happy! D

2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - A Sweet Hello

Hello lovely friends and followers!
Hope you're all having a most wonderful day!
Thanks for taking a little time today to pop in
and visit me - I'm glad that you did.

I'm participating in the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
If you haven't heard of this before please go check it out.
There are an amazing number of sponsors offering prizes
and lots and lots of fantastic inspiration featuring
all kinds of different creations.  If you LOVE coffee,
tea or cocoa it's a very fun event.  The past two seasons
I've only been able to hop and enjoy the lovely creations
by all the participants, but this year I found some time to
make three of my own WINTER themed coffee, cocoa creations
(so far) to share with you.  Here's my first one featuring an
adorable stamp set from YOUR NEXT STAMP (one of the
hop's Super Sponsors) called ELLIE LOVES LATTES
(and the coordinating die cut).  I also used some gorgeous
plaid papers from the 6 x 6 paper pack Winter Plaid.
So....drum roll....here's my card. Hope you like it!

In addition to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop I'm
also entering this card in the following challenges:
{PIN}spirational Challenges #205 (Photo inspiration - see below)
I took inspiration from the plaid scarf and Christmas theme
"Merry and Bright" Snowman Winter Holiday Christmas ACEO Original Painting EBSQ | eBay
(I used light green, dark green and red)
than a latte on a winter day - especially for Christmas holiday?!)

Okay so that's all from me on this post.  Thanks again for
popping in to visit me.  I hope I've inspired you a little today.
I'll be back soon with my other coffee/cocoa creations :o).

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #409 - Christmas

Hello everyone.  I'm glad you've taken a break from
the Thanksgiving weekend shopping to visit me.
It's time for another weekly challenge at
KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES
and this week the theme is CHRISTMAS!

I completely avoided the stores on Black Friday but
did some internet shopping.  Found one gift for me family
and a couple for myself fell into my cart(s) too. Oops!
Speaking of Sales...Did you see this from
KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS?!!
Image may contain: text

This is an awesome time to get some of the krafty goodies you've
been wishing for.  You can wrap them and put them under the
tree from "Santa" (winky face).

Okay so back to the reason for my post today and that would
be to share my Krafty DT card with you that was made for
the current KKS Challenge #409!

I used the brand new A Brew-tiful Day and added a
"Christmassy" (um..yes that is a word) sentiment from
Reindeer Games to make a Clean And Simple (shocker!)
and festive Christmas card.   This is a super easy and fun
to make for my coffee (or cocoa) loving friends.
It will be very easy to tuck a coffee shop gift card inside.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Happy Little Stamps November CAS Challenge - Christmas
Fusion Challenges - Red Christmas

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Food and/or Drink
Winter Wonderland challenges - Traditional Christmas Colors Red and Green
If you Give a Crafter a Cookie Challenge #82 (photo inspiration)

So that's all from me for today!  My daughter has been
dying to put up the Christmas decorations for a week now
but my hubby refuses to let Christmas invade Thanksgiving.
Tomorrow he can stop us no more bwahahaha.
I hope you will find time to join us this week and
link up your own Christmassy creation.  Hugs! D

Krafty Komeback - Angie

Today a retired favorite from KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS
has made a krafty komeback!! You might remember
this sassy lady who was one of the most popular images
from artist Annie Rodrigue.  Say "Hello" again to ANGIE!!
The new sentiments match Angie's attitude perfectly!!
No automatic alt text available.

My card uses the original Angie.  As you can see she isn't
too much different in the newer version.  She does have
a bigger cup though :o).  The sentiment I used here

I loved her then and I love her now!
I can so relate to her messy hair, big bathrobe and both hands
wrapped around the coffee cup. I think I need to have
both sets - just because I love her so much!

I am linking up with the following challenges today:

Thanks so much for visiting me today! I hope you will
hop on down and go visit the blogs of the Krafty Krew next!
And oh by the way... Angie is available in the shop NOW!

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #367 - Hearts

Happy weekend crafty peeps!
Any big weekend plans?
Maybe watching the Superbowl?

Well...I know one thing you can do.
You can get crafty and join us at
where the theme for Challenge #367 is HEARTS!

Perfect theme with Valentine's day right around the corner!
(Ummm how weird is that? Wasn't it just Christmas?)

Here's my DT card to share with  you
using ONE CUP AT A TIME and a die cut panel
that has been sitting on my craft desk for over a year.
I used a combo of watercolor (around the inside of
the die heart shapes and the first layer of stripes on
the cup) and colored pencils to make this card.

If you follow my blog or pop in often to visit me then
you know that I LOVE to color with my copics.
However, I've really been loving all the pencil
creations I've been seeing and I've kind of  challenged
myself to learn how to use them better.  So I've purchased
a few colors and have been playing with them a bit.
Definitely not as easy for me as the copics.
I tend to be kind of heavy handed I guess in
my coloring as it is kind of "streaky" sometimes,
but I'll keep trying.  Practice, practice, practice!

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Color Throwdown #428 where I got this great color combo to use

and
Crafty Creations Challenges #334 - Anything Goes
House of Cards February Challenge: Love Theme and/or Colors

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges #314 - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges: The Color of Love
Cute Card Thursday #443 "Be My Valentine"
{PIN}spirational Challenges #183
that cute little striped mug stole my heart

Crafty Rocket Challenges #32 - It's a Love thing

I hope that you will decide to join us this week and share your own
awesome creation featuring HEARTS!  The more times you enter the
challenges each month, the more chances you have to WIN
some Krafty Cash to spend in the KKS store!  See more details
on the main challenge blog post here.

And before I go I want to also share some special NEWS with you:
To celebrate Kimmie's birthday, instead of a "Frugal Friday",
