Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Mid Month inspiration for the August challenge!

Mid Month Inspiration!

Every month there's a brand new challenge with a choice of themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! 

The monthly challenges are a great way to inspire you and help get your creative mojo going!  We've got some fabulous prompts for you and can't wait to see what YOU create!

This month our challenge themes for you are:

Drinks, Fruits/Veggies and/or Farm

I loved the challenge prompts so much that 

I decided to use TWO of them. 

My first card uses the Fruits/Veggies theme

This sweet little baker is from the newest 

Krafty Komeback stamp set 

(releasing later today) called 

Hey There, Punkin'!  

I'm so excited that this stamp has been re-released! 

All the images are so very cute, but 

I think this might be my image from 

this set.  I love to make pies

and they are my favorite dessert treat. 

The background for this card was

made with the Perfect Pies! layering stencil, 

and a sentiment from the Pumpkin Kisses stamp set

(stamped with Marvellous Mocha ink). 

The following copic colors were used on this card:

YR09, YR07, YR04, YR02 and Y06 (pumpkins)

G28, YG63,YG67, YG17 (leaves and grass)

V12 and V15 (dress and apron pocket)

YR23 and YR21 (apron)

C1(spoon)

E41 and E43 (shoes)

E53, E31 and E34 (pie)

E04, E21, E02 and E00 (skin)

E27 E25 E23 (hair)

The following KKS hybrid inks were used to

create the pies: 

Creamy Caramel, Mellow Mustard,

Sandy Shores, Pumpkin Patch

Lavish Lilac and Granite Grey. 

I also finished the inside of the card.

Hey There, Punkin'! is being released today

immediately following the  

Live New Release Party at 3pm EST

in the Krafty Friends Facebook group!

My second card uses the Farm theme

and here's the inside 

The stamp sets used on this card are:

Our Farm! (farmer, barn, tree, bushes, clouds)

and Farm Friends!(cow, chick, pig and sentiments)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release! Final day of the Krafty Peeks! Hey There, Punkin!

 Good morning and welcome to our
FINAL day of AUGUST Krafty Peeks!

Today we are revealing our last stamp set which will be releasing tomorrow afternoon at 3pm ET along with all our other stamp sets and stencils!

Today we are revealing...a Krafty Komeback!!

 It's called HEY THERE, PUNKIN'!

It was originally released in 2014!

For those who are new around these parts, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be celebrating 15 years this fall so we have a lot of retired images most people have never seen before!  (And there are lots of requests for past stamp sets!) So once in a while we bring a set back and this one will be back this weekend!

There are SOoooo many of the Cheryl Grant designed

stamp sets that I love but this one was one of my

absolute favorites.  In fact my cards for this release

were made with the original rubber stamp set. 

I don't think that I'll ever be able to part with it!

I love the new clear version too as it has a couple

different sentiments that are just perfect for the

adorable kiddo images.  So of course, I'll need 

to have the newest one also!  IYKYK!! LOL.

I'm starting off by sharing the first card I made

for this new release peek.  It's my favorite 

trick or treater, Lucas and his trusty pup.

The super fun (and not too spooky) background 

was made with the Ghoulish Ghosts stencil

and Purple Petunia and Magical Midnight 

KKS hybrid inks.  Most of the purple got

covered up by the main image (oops!) but 

if you zoom in you can see a little of it

peeking out at the top. 

Fun fact...the KKS hybrid inks can be used

with any medium (watercolors, alcohol markers,

color pencils) and are available in either 

a large pad or an ink cube version (with

refills).  These inks blend beautifully together

and are a staple in my cardmaking collection. 

You can find all these inks and this fun stencil in the shop.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release Peeks - DAY 3! Sweet and Spooky!

 Good morning and welcome to
 Day THREE
of our August Krafty Peeks!

If you've been with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps any amount of time, you know that August is always our Fall/Halloween Release so that you have lots of time to order, receive and create your new goodies for the season!

So today we have an adorable new Halloween stamp set for you by artist Sabrina van Vloten called

SWEET & SPOOKY!

Okay so COME ON! how super CUTE is this?!

I LOVE cute (not too spooky) halloween stamps

and decorations!  This on has completely stolen 

my heart.  I made FIVE cards with it almost

immediately after opening my DT package! 

Here's the first one I'm sharing with you today.

To create this card, I started by stamping each

of these images in the designated spaces

and then created a mask with sticky notes 

so that I could ink the background around

them using Purple Pansy and Gorgeous Grape

KKS hybrid inks.  Don't these colors create

a beautiful blend? I love the way it looks

like a spooky night (at least in my opinion lol).

Each of the stamped images were colored with 

copic markers (ghosts are so easy to color) 

and then the entire postage diecut piece

was layered on black cardstock

before adhering it to the white card base.   

Here's another of the cards I made. This time

that haunted house is the star of the card. 

The faces on those little jack o' lanterns 

are so fun!  I added some sparkle to the

webs and the web patterns of the house

but unfortunately it doesn't show up

well in this photo.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - August NEW Release Peeks - DAY TWO!!

 Welcome back!

Did you enjoy yesterday's Peeks?
Well, we are back with MORE fun stuff!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set
from artist Neda Sadreddin called 
Air Mail!

Eeeee!  Such cute and fluffy little characters in the sky!!

I think this stamp set is SO ADORABLE and FUN!

My card today features the bear in the helicopter.

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to ride in

a helicopter and it was amazing! 

To create the "scene" I used the 

Chubby Clouds and Krafty Scenery 2 stencils.

Both of these stencils would also be great

to use with the bunny in the plane stamp. 

The clouds were created with one of my

favorite KKS inks - Bubbly Blue.

For the mountains, I started with Mossy Meadow ink, 

then added some shading with Fresh Fields

and finished it off with some Sandy Shores ink.

my creations featuring "I Bee-Lieve in You"!

To create the background for this sweet card

I used the Gorgeous Gauze stencil with

Tranquil Teal ink. Then I added lots of 

lovely die cut layers and added the 

most adorable little bee to the center. 

I will use this stamp set over and over again.
