52CCT May Sketch Challenge and Bugaboo's Biggest Fan for May

Hello friends and happy weekend!
I have some fun news to share with you today.
This month I am featured as the Bugaboo Stamps Biggest Fan in the May newsletter!
I love Bugaboos fun images and participating in their challenges.
It's quite an honor to be chosen for this :o)
The current challenge at Catch the Bug is "Anything Goes" and you can see my card there.

My other fun news to share with you is that its a new month of great challenges

We have a fabulous GDT this month--Judy V of Created Just 4 U!
Judy has been playing along with our challenge for quite some time
and I'm always in awe of her lovely Christmas cards.
Welcome Judy - so happy to have you with us this month.

Ruth is our hostess this month and she has started us off with this great sketch:

Here's my card using the May sketch and a darling Bugaboo digi:

I got some new copic markers (E97 and E99) recently and decided to
try a monochromatic theme for my card this week.
I like how it turned out. Hope you do too!

I hope you will decide to participate in the 52CCT May Sketch challenge
and the Catch the Bug Challenge - Anything Goes!

For more inspiration, go check out the work of my lovely DT pals at 52CCT
you'll be very glad that you did :o)

I'm also entering the following challenges:
Christmas Card Challenges #22 - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra - May 2014 "Anything Goes"

Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D

  7. Thanks for all the lovely comments you left me today, I really enjoyed reading them and your visits after much appreciated:) This is a great modern version of a religious themed Christmas card, I like the subtle little sentiment you've added too, and the color scheme is perhaps non traditional but I think it works well thinking of ?Jesus being born in a stable!

  13. I agree with Rosi - the background evokes thoughts of the straw that could be in the manger! That image is really cute. This could be a great Christmas card to send to a young child. Nicely done, Danielle!
