This is such a fun set!  It's also so fun that it

coordinates with many of the other cute

critter stamps by artist Sabrina.

I used the fantastic Number it! stencil

to create a fun colored background

that just screams birthday party 

(to me it does anyway lol).

Inspirational Wednesday - My Type!

 Hello Krafty Friends!

It's INSPIRATIONAL WEDNESDAY,

the day we provide you with a bit of extra krafty inspiration to help you get creative with your krafty stamps!

I get the pleasure today of being the 

featured designer and to share not

one but TWO cardsthat I made 

using the really fun and versatile

MY TYPE! stamp set.

This stamp set was first introduced

in January 2021.  I have had it 

in my collection just waiting 

to ink it up and give it some love

for a very long time!  But, today is the

day krafty peeps - so let the sharing 

commence.  Before I do that I want

to make sure to tell you that you'll 

  find it on SALE at 40% off all week!

Yes, you read that right...40% Off!!

Here's my first card...

Oh my goodness...isn't that typewriter

just the cutest?  It looks like it's smiling! 

The background was made with the 

Geo 1 stencil and Ruby Red ink. 

I love this stamp because it reminds

me of the letters that my Grandma

used to type and send to me.

I still have many of those letters

(typos and all - lol).  This was 

before it was so easy to make 

a FaceTime call and you had to

wait for the snail mail to arrive. 

I honestly miss that very much. 

And...here's my second card. 

This time I used three of the sentiments and 

the sheet of paper stamp.  With a little bit 

of masking magic I was able to add 

one of the sweet litle mice (from the

Krafty Mice stamp set which was 

released last month) next to one of

the sheets of paper.   The background

was made with the Mountains of Mail 

stencil and Mostly Melon and 

Party Peach inks. 

This one also reminds me of my Grandma

and a special pen pal I had as a 

pre-teenager.  I didn't have a typewriter

so my letters were also written by 

hand and I loved to use colored pens

or pencils when I could.  

I had so much fun with this stamp set -

the ideas were just flying out of my head.

I actually made three cards with this

set, but I'm waiting to share that one 

for another time. 

 

The MY TYPE! stamp set was first 

released in January 2021, 

so if you don't have it now is 

an excellent time to grab it

This is such a fun stamp set and so perfect for all of us who love cardmaking.  It would be great in a scrapbook layout too.

I used several of the images to make a slimline card - take a peek:

The sentiment is heat embossed across all the images.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Release Peeks - DAY ONE! A Krafty Komeback - CAVE KIDS!

   Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our April Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured set is a Krafty Komeback set 

designed by Cheryl Grant called.....

CAVE KIDS!

Lulu, Lucas and Lexi are back with adorable prehistoric costumes and a sweet little dino friend!

I loved this stamp set when it was originally

released (still have it in my collection)

and I love this new clear photopolymer

version with the fun new sentiments!

I made a slimline card using three of the

stamps and the new Animal Adventure stencil.

I brushed Designer Denim all over my panel

including the piece underneath and then added

some Lavish Lilac over the top of that in the

circle area to change the color slightly and

add a purple-ish hue. The images are stamped

with Sandy Shores and Totally Taupe hybrid ink

and then colored with copics.

I love how this card turned out and

I'm so glad to share it with you today!

Stinkin' Cute Slimline Valentine Card

 Hello! Hello!

It's almost mid-February already and 

Valentine's Day is Monday! Yikes! 

I wanted to send out some cute love

themed cards this year and the stamp

sets I recently purchased from Lawn Fawn

were so perfect - and Stinkin' Cute - for this.

This is a Slimline Valentine card using

stamps and coordinating dies from 

Scent with Love and Scent with Love Add On.

The main card base panel is also from Lawn Fawn

it's the Scalloped Slimline With Heart - Portrait die.

 OMGosh don't you just love the heart shaped scent trails?!

Sprinkling You With LOVE!

 Hello! Thanks for popping in to visit my blog.

Today I had a great crafty day and was able to make 

six cards! That is a big accomplishment for me. 

One of my crafty goals (not resolution) for 2022

is to use more of the items in my crafty stash.

One way to help me do that is to enter 

challenges as a creative jump start.

My first card is a SlimLine card using

products from MFT Stamps (mostly)

I used distress oxide sprays on the main panel

and then sponged around the edges with 

regular distress ink.  I learned that it's

actually better to use the regular distress ink

first and then the oxide sprays.  The back 

panel is sprayed with a Nuvo Shimmer mist.

The main panel is popped up with foam 

and them each of the little critters is also. 

I thought afterward that this would have been

a fund shaker card with hearts in all the circles. 

Two things to try for the next one LOL. 

The main panel die is from Pinkfresh Studio.  

Stamps and coordinating dies are from 

MFT Stamps.  Colored with copics.

These wonderful sea creatures are ready to make your summer projects spectacular! You can add them into so many ocean scenes and the fun accessories included bring it all to life!

Ok so SERIOUSLY I ask you, how stinkin' CUTE are these underwater creatures?  It's so hard to choose which ones to use, but my card wasn't going to fit all of them lol!  The colorful starfish remind me of some live ones I found on the beach several years ago. I had no idea they came in so many bright and beautiful colors.  You'll notice that beautiful new Designer Denim ink in the background too. It's so lovely for underwater scenes (and skies too). 

Oh and let's not forget about the fun Darling Dashing stencil too!
