Hello crafty friends! I'm happy that

It's so crazy to think we are almost at the 

end of November already! 

For my card today, I used both

of the themes - multiple layers

and tags - take a peek:

This is a mini-slimline card

that has a shaker tag on the 

card front.  That adorable 

snowman is from the NEW

Build-A-Snowman stencil. 

The beautiful background pattern 

behind the snowman was made 

the the Geo 3 Stencil and KKS

Lucky Limeade hybrid ink. 

Isn't it fun?!  

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until November 30th!

November Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

  Good morning krafty friends! 

It's November, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  

I decided to make a tag for this month's challenge.

The super adorable new stamp set (released last 

month) called 

It's Peguining To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

is the star of the tag - take a peek

I also used the Geo 3 stencil 

and some Aqua Adventure (Ink of the Month)

and Tranquil Teal inks on the background. 

Do you like the unusual color of the 

penguin? Non-traditional colors are 

my favorite to use on Christmas creations.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #521 - Tag! You're It!

Hello wonderful krafty friends!

Today I get the pleasure of being the hostess 

for the newest weekly challenge at 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

The theme for KKS Challenge #521 is to use a tag

(or make a tag) on your creation.  There are so many

ways to use tags.  I know many of you also make tags too

(something I'd really like to do more of). I was messing 

around with making different backgrounds and this 

one just seemed to shout "Outer Space" to me.  

So I used a tag featuring one of the super CUTE

aliens from OUT OF THIS WORLD on it

(he's so furry and fun!).  Love how it turned out!

November Krafty Scrappin' Challenge (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)

Oh Hello sweet crafty friends and followers.

My post today is for the November Krafty Scrappin challenge

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES.

For this challenge you can create ANYthing you wish 

as long as it's NOT a card! 

Calendars, bookmarks, pocket pages, traditional scrap pages, 

holiday gifts, planner pages... you get the picture! But NO Cards.

The November theme is  ANYTHING GOES!

I'm usually so busy making cards that I don't stop to make the time

to create something different unless it's a special occasion or reason.

My project today is a sweet little tag that I made using 

Happy Fall Y'All that I put on a jar of homemade applesauce

from my own tree.  It was a gift for my Grandma 

who LOVES anything sweet - and especially applesauce.

Two years ago I only had about 3 little apples on my tree.

Last year I had quite a lot but most of them had bugs but

this year was a bumper crop and I had more than I knew what to

do with.  So I googled applesauce recipes and made several

different versions.  It was so much easier than I thought it

would be and man was it ever wayyyy better than any I've

purchased at the store.  Grandma likes it sweeter than I

do (and smooth) so I added brown sugar to hers and 

threw it in the blender when it was done cooking. 

Needless to say I was her favorite granddaughter 

(Oops I promised not to tell anyone that - lol!)

So enough from me for now.  I hope I've inspired you

to play along with us this time. It is the season for 

giving and there are lots of sweet stamp sets at 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that work perfectly for this.

1. Make ANY crafty creation... JUST NOT A CARD!

2. MUST be a NEW creation (created on or after this post date)

4. You have a month to play, enter AS MANY TIMES as you'd like!

5. PRIZES?!? Of course there are prizes!! Once we've reached 5 entries, 

we draw a random winner (winner will be drawn at the close of the challenge)!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #362 - Winter

Hello friends!  

Today we have another theme challenge at

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES!

This week the theme is WINTER - brrr!


My daughter and I made several mason jar 

gifts containing minty hot cocoa mix (from
my own special recipe).  I used the adorable
Beary Big Hugs stamp set to make a gift
tag - take a look.  All I have to do now is
write the "to" and "from" on the tag and
it's ready to deliver with a batch of fresh
cookies next week!  The perfect wintery treat!

Did you get  your taxes done?

I was up until 2 am working on ours - ugh!

Thus the late post today - I totally spaced updating

my blog for the ANYTHING BUT A CARD

project at CATCH THE BUG CHALLENGES.

We have a couple graduations coming up in our

family so I decided to make a tag and a little 

pillow gift box that's perfect for tucking 

some cash for the graduate in.  

I've used Ava grad diploma on the tag

The best part about this project today is that

it uses up lots of bits and parts of things from my

stash - love when that happens!

Bugaboo Stamps 6th Annual Birthday Bash - Welcomes to the Jungle {Color Challenge}

Howdy! It's time for Day 3 of the Bugaboo Stamps
6th Annual Birthday Bash celebration.
And another fun challenge at Catch the Bug!!

Usually on Mondays the Bugaboo designers showcase a project
that's not a card.  Today the birthday challenge is a wild color
pallette to use.  If you are playing along with us you can
make a card or another type of creation using the colors
below.    The rules are simple.... just create a Birthday project
using this fun color pallette and share it with us by adding
it to the inlinkz for the Daily challenge (here).
