Challenge #573 -Cuteness!! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge 

to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

We've got some fabulous ideas for you 

and can't wait to see what you create!

This week, Krafty Girl Delphine is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is CUTENESS!

Oh Gosh could this be any easier of a challenge?

I mean come on...there are soooo many CUTE

stamp sets in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp shop.

All you have to do is chose one of your favorites

and create something CUTE! 

My card for this week's challenge features 

another of the cute dragon images from the 

newly released DRAGON FLIGHT stamp 

set and a sentiment from the DREAM CASTLE.

I also added some of the items from the

March Add-On Bundle (available in 

limited quantities until they are gone).

The chipboard eggs are so fun to 

ink, color, sparkle etc. One one of them

I added some Stickles glitter gel and on

the other I put a layer of Nuvo Dream Drops 

(also from the add-on bundle) over it and 

then stamped on top of it after it dried. 

Maybe not what you might expect from 

a dragon image but it's sure CUTE and 

can be used for a variety of reasons.

Possibly even a baby card right?!

DAY THREE - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March Release Peeks

  Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the March Release
 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set from artist

Neda Sadreddin  and it's called HAMMIN' IT UP!!

These cuties are having so much fun!! 

And you're going to have a blast creating with them! 

My face was smiling the entire time I was coloring these 

cute little fluff balls!  I'll bet you can see why - so stinkin' CUTE!

 The card design is based on the March KKS Sketch.

Love having sketches to put some framing around

my creativity - especially when my brain is whirling like

the hamster in the wheel with too many ideas! 

The sentiment is embossed, the straw is colored by making

lots of quick strikes across the strip of paper with my

Creamy Caramel hybrid ink cute.  Those stars are from the 

March Add-On Kit and are glittered up with some

Stickles glitter glue. The chipboard accepts so many

different types of craft mediums so easily.  In this

second photo you might be able to see better the

Nuvo Dream drops that I added around the wheel

to give it some dimension and shine.  If you purchase

the March Add-On Kit you will get a bottle of the 

dream drops (various colors - what you get is a surprise!)

The color I got and used is called Frosted Lake.  

It's kind of a very soft green but it seems to look different on 

everything I use it on. It's Gorgeous and so fun to use!

DAY ONE of the March Release Peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Hello friends! It's time for our March release peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today's featured stamp set is by artist Sabrina van Vloten

called DRAGON FLIGHT!! It's fearsomely awesome!

This is an amazing set of dragons and knights ready to set 

flight and create magical scenes! Of course you're going to find 

so many ways to use it with the previously released

Dream Castle and Royal Family & Sentiments sets!

I used two of the awesome images from this set with 

the GORGEOUS new RICH RUST hybrid ink and the 

RADICAL RECTANGLES stencil. Take a peek 

For this fun color combo I also used 

Berry Bold, Morning Marigold, Aqua Adventure 

and Lovely Lagoon hybrid inks w/ the Rich Rust. 

Notice those little stars?  Those are part of the exclusive

chipboard set in the March Add-On Bundle.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #571 - GLITTER

My card features the Funny Fishes stamp set by

krafty girl artist Allison Cope.  Take a peek!

Doesn't this fish just make you want to giggle?

This card is going to a gal friend so I added some

eyelashes :o).  I used the new Smokin' Squares stencil

with the new Aqua Adventure hybrid ink to create

the water around the fish. Turned out super fun! 

Personally I love the look of glitter but am not a 

fan at all of the mess of it.  When I want glitter

I tend to us glitter glue (like stickles on the hat) 

and glitter paper so I don't have glitter everywhere 

for weeks when I'm done creating Hahaha!

March Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

    Good morning krafty friends!

It's March and that means...

 it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is 

ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, April 5th to enter and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

My skrappy creation this month is a scrapbook page. I'm kind of in love with the baking themed products from this past month. So many different and fun ways these can be used.  As I was making muffins last weekend it struck me that using them could make for a fun scrapbook page.  Granite Grey ink was the perfect color to add a subtle pattern with the Baking Bonanza Stencil. I used some more of the chipboard elements from the February Add On Bundle (see photo below) and one of the sentiments from Happiness is Homemade!  There's also hidden journaling under the main photo (used another sentiment from Happiness is Homemade for that). Note: non-Kraftin' Kimmie products are the stickers from my stash and the tag from a bottle of my favorite oil.
