Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges - #500 "Use 1 or More Stencils"

Hello friends and happy weekend.
This week at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS
we are celebrating 10 wonderful years and
the 500th Challenge!!! What an amazing milestone!

This week our hostess for Challenge #500 is Krafty Gal Anna.
She is challenging us to  Use 1 or More Stencils on our creations.
And guess what??? Kimmie is offering a special prize to
one lucky winner from this next week's entries...
5 - yes FIVE - stencils of the winners choice!

Since Kimmie started carrying stencils in the krafty shop
I've hardly used my patterned papers.  The stencils are so fun
to use and they work so beautifully with the KKS hybrid inks.
They also work great for dry embossing.
If you haven't checked them out you should!

My DT card today uses 3 of the stencils for the background
BATS & MOONS, CREEPY COBWEB and LOTS O' DOTS
and one of the not so spooky monsters from
MONSTER MASH with a sentiment from PUMPKIN KISSES
and added couple of the fun enamel SPOOKY DOTS.

This is one of the funnest cards I've made in a while.
The first color I used on the background was
GOBLIN GREEN (leaving some white space around the bottom
and outer edge.  Then I added some SPARKLING SAPPHIRE
in the white areas I had left.  For the stenciled layers, I first
sponged some GRANITE GREY over the top of the
Creepy Cobweb stencil.  Second layer was to add some bats
through the Bats & Moons stencil. The sentiment was
added in Wicked Black (same as the bats) and then I
sponged with PURPLE PANSY ink through the
Lots o' Dots stencil.  Isn't it fun? I love how the green
glows through the web! Spooky Cool!

Thanks for visiting me today! I hope you find some time
in your weekend to get krafty and join the challenge.
Your entry needs to be a new creation and you can use
any type stamp product. BUT...  We love to see what you make
with your KKS Stamps, inks, stencils and dots!
So.. if you use KKS Stamps and products you'll
and products you get double entry points!

I'm also entering the following challenges today

Thanks for visiting me today! Krafty Hugs! D

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #486 - No Patterned Paper

Happy weekend!
It's time for another weekly theme challenge
from KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGES.

Challenge #486 is "No Patterned Paper".
I can remember a time when that would cause my
heart to quiver in anxiety to make a card without
patterned paper.  I have a very large amount of
it in my crafty stash - it's kind of an addiction LOL.
But...lately I've been having so much fun using stencils
that my poor patterned paper stash is quite neglected.
with two different blue hybrid inks to make the background
for this pet sympathy card.  I colored the sweet dog to
resemble the doggie that the family lost.
The main image and sentiment are from
the clear stamp set called FURRY ANGELS .

There's velum panel over the top of the base
that I stamped the sentiment on.  It's never
fun to make a sympathy card, but I do believe
that it really touches people's hearts to know
that we care enough to make something
especially for them in their time of sorrow.

I hope you'll make and share your own
beautiful creation with us this week
without any patterned paper.
We LOVE to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping in to visit me today!

Kraftin' Kimmie May 2019 New Release Peek & Anything Goes Challenge

Hello lovely friends!  The May 2019 NEW Release
peeks from KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS continue.
It's also the start of a new challenge and the theme is
ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during peeks week).

I'm totally lovin' the NEW "MAKE A WISH" stamp set
by Nedra Sadreddin (you can order this tomorrow afternoon)!
It's just so cute I can hardly stand it!

To make my card, I pulled out my very lonely watercolors
and made a fun background for the genie and Aladdin.
Then I added some fun polka dots with the NEW
PINK PIZZAZZ hybrid ink and LOTS OF DOTS stencil
before adding the fussy cut images and a few of the
FRUITY DOTS.  I added some die cut vellum clouds also
because I thought it would be fun to make it seem
as if the genie were floating in the clouds with a mist
of magic around him from the bottle being opened.

Here's how it turned out. I kind of like it!

I'd like to enter this card in these challenges as well:
copic markers and inked through the stencil (as well
as the sentiment).

I hope that you'll join in on the Anything Goes Challenge
this week! I can't wait to see what you make and share!

Tomorrow is the LIVE ONLINE PARTY in the
Kraftin' Kimmie Friends Facebook Group.  You'll get to
see all the new products and can purchase them from
the store right after the event.  I hope that you will
join us! It's always a fun time with Kimmie!!

Until then pop on down to the link below and go
visit the krafty team to see their fabulous
creations using the last NEW stamp set to
be release this month - BERRY SWEET.

I Love You a Bushel and a Peck - Valentine {SugarPea Designs}

Hello and happy hearts day!
I had a good day celebrating the ones I love
and feeling loved myself :o)
Hope you did too!

This is the card I made for my daughter for
Valentine's Day and to celebrate how very much
I love her sweet self :o)

This little sweetie is from SugarPea Designs
called "A Bushel and a Peck" and I colored her with copics.
I made the main card panel using a brayer and then a
stitched rectangle die once it was dry.  It had been sitting
on my craft  desk for quite a while so I decided it wasa
time to use it and the color was perfect for Valentine's day.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenges #28 "Lots of Love"
(my inspiration was the pink and the LOVE theme"

Pile it on Challenges #126 "hearts on fire"
Just Us Girls JUGS #380 - Trend Week "Hearts"

Thanks so much for stopping in to visit me today!
Hugs to you! D
