May 2020 New Release Final Peeks and ANYTHING GOES CHALLEGE - Farm-Tastic

Happy Saturday everyone!
Pat yourself on the back as you've made it to the
weekend!  I know it makes me happy! Whoo Hoo!

I'm really happy that you're here to visit me today
because it's we have an ANYTHING GOES theme challenge
(as it always is during release week).  This is the most relaxed
challenge because you can create any type of project,
with any theme, with any colors, with anything you want.
Please just make sure it is a NEW creation and that you
link it up on either the blog post or in the
Kraftin' Kimmie Friends Facebook Group album.
We LOVE to see what you create - especially
when you use the fabulous Kraftin' Kimmie goodies!
You have a whole week to enter and each entry gives
you a chance for the monthly prize drawing.
See all the details here.

OH! But I'm also really happy you're here because it's the final
day of the peeks for the May release products and we have
THE.MOST.ADORABLE Boy stamp set
by artist Cheryl Grant.  It's called FARM-TASTIC!

Both of these images are perfect for my husband, son,
brother-in-law and Dad (my Dad loves tractors!).
And just look at that the cute doggie!

Here's my card to share with you today

Just look at that cute little worm hanging out at the
top of the fishing pole.  I just LOVE this set!
The image was colored with copic markers and
prisma color pencils (for some of the smaller details
and to create some shading).  The yellow dots are
part of the NEW RAINBOW BRIGHT DOTS.
I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow hybrid ink.

At 2pm EST today we have the LIVE ON-Line Release Party
with Kimmie!  I hope you will join us for some fun
conversation and review of the new products for this month.

EVERYTHING from this new release will be available
immediately following the party - whoo hoo!
For those of you who loved it ALL you might want to
check out the GIMMIE KIMMIE KIT deal at a special
discounted price (limited special while supplies last).

Very Last (and Favorite) Christmas card of 2016

Hello again friends and followers :o)
Are you as in shock as I am that there are
only 3 more days of this year?!
This past month was so full for me with
work and family that it seemed like I blinked
and now it is almost over.
I remember my Grandma telling me that
as you get older time goes by faster.
I didn't believe her until recently lol!

I have one more Christmas card to share with you
today that was made for my son and his lovely lady.

This is a retired Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp called Rudy.
I stamped it on Kraft paper and then colored with
copic markers and a white gel pen.  I really
loved how it turned out and not only was it my
very last Christmas card of 2016 - it was also my favorite!
This cheeky reindeer reminds me a lot of my son :o)
here's the inside too

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Merry Monday Christmas Challenges #228 - Favorite of 2016

Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday Challenge - Mermaid Friends & Oceans of Love

Happy Wednesday crafty friends and followers!
I'm not sure if I think this week is going by slowly or too fast.
Too fast for all the crafty projects I want to get done
and too slow for the weekend to be here - LOL.

But here's the best news about today...it's time
for another fun Wonderful Wednesday challenge

The theme as it always is for the Wednesday challenges
is ANYTHING GOES!  Who doesn't like that right?!
You can make any type of project with any theme
and use any stamp or crafty medium you wish.
Just have fun with it and share it with us for an
opportunity to win some Krafty $ to spend in the
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps store - whoo hoo!!

My card today uses one of the brand newest
stamps from the beautiful MERMAID FRIENDS
and a sentiment from OCEANS OF LOVE (currently
sold out but will be back soon) - take a look:

I've been seeing the use of vellum a lot lately so I thought
I'd pull some out of my stash and play with it at bit
Those waves are actually the puffy cloud border dies from
Your Next Stamp.  I think it turned out kind of fun ;o).

I used the sketch from MOJO Monday #449 this week
(as you can see I flipped the orientation of it though)
for the layout.  I also wanted to play along with
the current challenge at 613 Avenue Create #177
which is Anything Goes w/optional twist of
Create your Own Challenge Series.  I used
the A2 Card type, Thinking of you as the event, and
gold/metallic and sequins for the trends part of the challenge.
I would also like to enter this in these challenges too:
Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenges #109 - Just Us Girls
{PIN}spirational Challenges #166 - Anything goes

Hope you will consider joining us this week at KKS.
There are some more lovely creations from my
sweet and talented Krafty Girls teammates -
go check them out too.  You'll be glad you did!

So that's it for me today. I'm sure glad you stopped
in to visit me!  Hope your Wednesday is great and it
goes by as fast or as slow as you like it to :o)
Til next time...krafty hugs! D

Christmas Charm - 52CCT November Sketch & MTTC #265 "Charmed"

Happy weekend sweet friends and followers!
This week the stars aligned for me creatively and
I was able to combine my two DT challenges into
one card. Kind of nice when that happens :o)

I'm in a Christmas mood and getting very, very close
to having my stash of Christmas cards done
and ready to go for 2014 - yay me!

If you are just getting started on your Christmas cards
for the season these two challenges might give your
creativity a jump start.

The challenge this first week of November at
is this fabulous sketch

and the challenge at My Time to Craft (MTTC)
is "Charmed". So for MTTC #265, We want to see
a charm on your beautiful creation.

Are you ready to see how I combined these two challenges?
Here it is:
Digital image by Sassy Cheryl's Stamps - "Snow Much Love"

If this image doesn't make you say "awwww"
I'm not sure what's wrong with ya' - JK :o)
Seriously though I came across it and just couldn't resist it.

I decided to do something a bit unusual for me
and use neutral and warm colors rather than the
bright and somewhat non-traditional
colors I seem to favor.

I used a new embossing strip that I got free
recently with my purchase of a cardmaking magazine.
Really love how this turned out!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew #73 - Bows
Festive Friday #43 - photo inspiration

Jingle Belles Challenges - Not a Creature was stirring
Penny's Paper Crafting Challenges #201 - Anything Goes
The Outlawz - Friday Coloring Challenges - AG w/Christmas twist
Sassy Cheryl's Neighborhood - November Challenge - AG

I hope that I've inspired you to play along with us this week
at either/or 52CCT November Sketch Challenge
& MTTC #265 - Charmed.
My lovely and talent DT pals at each of these challenges
have made some amazing creations to further inspire you.
Won't you go visit them and see?
Thanks so much for stopping by - I'm sure glad that you did.
Til next time...hugs and merry crafting! D
