Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #273 - Easter or Spring

Happy Saturday!
I'm so excited today because my baby sister and her hubby
are going to be here for a couple days to visit us.
I don't get to see her nearly as often as I would like so
I'm really looking forward to our time this weekend.

It's time for another new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie  
and this week I get the pleasure of being the hostess.
 

March has been marching on, now spring is almost here and 

Easter is right around the corner(and chocolate Easter bunnies)!

So I chose Easter or Spring as the theme for this week.

Wonderful Wednesday... Kraftin' Kimmie "RAIN OR SHINE"

Hey, hey, hey...it's Wonderful Wednesday

Here's my card using one of the FAB NEW sentiments

from the March Release called "RAIN OR SHINE"

I purchased this great umbrella die a couple of years ago and

have just been waiting for the "perfect" way to use it.

As soon as I saw this sentiment in the new set I knew

exactly what I wanted to do with it.  THEN I had to find where

I stashed my die...thankfully I'm still somewhat organized

and it didn't take me too long to find it :o)

My Time to Craft #284 - Silhouette

Happy Saturday sweet friends and followers!

It's time for another weekly challenge at 

My Time to Craft (MTTC)!!

You really loved the theme from last week

let's see if you like this one as much...

MTTC#284 is to Use a Silhouette 

it can be stamped or die cut - and it should be 

the main portion of your project.

I don't have many silhouette stamps but I 

did find this beautiful one in my stash and used 

a watercolor background panel I made a while ago.

To make this card I used a panel of watercolor paper

a paint brush, water and reinkers in three different shades 

of orange to create the ombre effect-

peach parfait, pumpkin pie and tangerine tango

(all from Stampin' Up).  I stamped directly on the

panel with Memento black ink to get the silhouette. 

I like how it turned out - hope you do too :o)    

I have a very busy weekend so I'm going to keep my post short.

I can't wait to see what you come up with week

Hello again friends!

This is my second DT post for the day

MTTC #283 is to make a creation for a Special Lady.

I made this frame for one of my DT pals Kelli

who just became a Grandma to a precious baby girl.

She has now received it so I can share it with you.

What does it mean "For a Special Lady"?  Well...it could be a creation

for Mother's Day, or for a for a Grandma, a friend, a teacher, or for your

sister or daughter just to let them know they are special.  

So many wonderful possibilities!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: How to make Faux Metal Trinkets {Video Tutorial}

Hello, hello, hello and HAPPY Monday!

I'm here today to share a video tutorial

on how to make faux metal trinkets 

using the Kraftin' Kimmie Birthday Trinkets set

in less than 6 minutes!!!

Supplies you will need for this project include:

Versamark clear embossing ink

metallic embossing powder (gold, silver, pewter)

temporary adhesive, a heat gun, a scrap of white cardstock,

and a punch (I used a 1 3/4" circle punch)
