Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Blog Hop Celebration for September Release

I used a couple pieces of the fabulous

and that little deer is one of the adorable

images from Santa's Village.

It may be difficult to see in this photo

but the embossed background was made 

with the Sweet Snowflake stencil.  

Dry embossing is a great way to get double

duty out of your KKS Stencils!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Last Day of September Release Peeks and Anything Goes Challenge!!

       Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release  at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Have you been enjoying the new release peeks?

If you love Christmas - this release has got you covered!  

I have two cards to share with you using the new 

2 piece layering stencil called Pretty Poinsettias

 - this one is going to be one of my all time 

favorites for sure! 

 

Here's the first one

I used Ruby Red KKS ink on the flowers and Fresh Fields 

on the leaves. Then I used a red glitter paste over the top

of the red flowers.  I love the shimmery look of this!

Here's the second card using the same stencil but 

with a different look.  This time I brushed some

Pretty in Pink ink all over the main panel.

Then I used some very small ink daubers

for the leaves (Goblin Green), flower stars

(Yummy Yellow) and Berry Bliss on the berries.

Then I covered the whole panel with a clear

glitter paste. It's a little softer look even though

I still used the Ruby Red ink.   

 

So that's it for me today! I hope I've 

given you some inspiration with

these creations!

I have two cards to share with you today using this

adorable stamp set!  The first one also uses

a fun sentiment tag from the September

Add-On bundle.  I used the Cozy Check stencil

to create the white textured panel behind 

Santa and his helper elf.  

The second card features the candy

castle image - which I made into a 

shaker card (I love shaker cards!).

September Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's September, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

Since Halloween is right around the corner, 

I thought it would be fun to make some 

treat bags for my staff using several of 

the KKS stencils and fabulous hybrid inks. 

Not everyone in my office likes chocolate (GASP!)

so I used some flavored tootsie rolls and 

candy corn (for the ONE person who loves it

in the group).  I actually really love how fun

the candy corn mix looks with the layered 

pumpkin stencil pattern (even if I really don't

love candy corn lol).  

To make the Bats and Moons candy bag I first

colored the white bag orange with 

Pumpkin Patch ink and then stenciled over

the top of that with the new Alluring Amethyst.

So super fun (and easy) to make these gifts!  

You have until Monday, October 3rd to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #648 - Spooky or Cute Halloween

  Good morning and welcome to another

fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you on team spooky or team cute?

No judging on my part but I will say that

I'm totally on team CUTE - spooky 

gives me nightmares hahaha.

Well lucky for me there's a brand new

Halloween stamp set that just got released

called Little Monsters!  It's perfect for those

cute Halloween creations that I love to make.

Check out what I made with it!

OMG and look how perfectly this sentiment

goes with the stamp!  The sentiment is just one from the 

Monster Sentiments stamp set.  It made it just a tiny

bit spooky I think.  My daughter will love this

as she loves the Walking Dead (NOT me!).

The background was created with several

distress oxide sprays on glossy paper. 

The sentiment is stamped with 

Alluring Amethyst hybrid ink.  

Isn't it FUN?? and Cute!
