Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps April Release - Hop and Shop!!

Hello! I'm so happy you're here to visit my blog today 

because today we are celebrating all the new fabulous 

crafting goodies in our April Release with a 

fun and inspiring krafty hop from the DT!

                            ALL five of the new stamp sets, two new stencils, 

                        a new hybrid ink color and the exclusive Add On Bundle

First I'll share my card with you today. Then I'll recap all 

the newly released stamp sets from this week.

Wow what an amazing week it's been for the new goodies!

This dapper golfer is from WILD AND CRAZY GUYS!

This stamp set has been retired for quite some time but has made a

krafty komeback this month. I waited for what seemed like

an eternity for this stamp set to come out of retirement.

I just love the three main images that are so perfect for

the men in my immediate and extended family as well as

friends and coworkers It's just so awesome for masculine

cards and scrapbook pages. I actually used the original

cling rubber stamp set and sentiment for my card -

but you have the opportunity to purchase it in the

fabulous photopolymer clear stamp version.

And that leads me right into the recap of the newly 

released stamp sets from this week:

We have an amazing Krafty Komeback set by 

artist Emilie Goulet called WILD AND CRAZY GUYS!

There's the beautiful Spring sentiment set by artist

Melissa Baker-Nguyen called SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS!

Then there's the fabulous and sweet set from artist

We have a beautiful floral scene set by artist 

Allison Cope called SPRING SCENERY!!

    Lastly, is an adorably cute set by Neda Sadreddin

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - April New Release Peeks - DAY THREE - Forest Friends!

   

Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the 

April Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a fabulous set from 

artist Sabrina van Vloten and it's called FOREST FRIENDS!!

These friends from the forest are so sweet, and definitely 

perfect for spring!! They have so many sweet and versatile 

accessories - and will coordinate beautifully with the 

awesome Love Bugs images, especially the gorgeous flower!!

I'm excited to share my card with you today. 

I used three stencils, a sentiment and a tree image 

from the SPRINGTIME SENTIMENTS set and a couple 

of the adorable images from FOREST FRIENDS!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - April 2021 Day One Peeks - Wild & Crazy Guys!

Helloooooo friends! It's time for a new monthly release

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This package is going to sell for the amazing price

Live Release Party! Get ready to get krafty!!

Here's my card to share with you today

I really had fun making with this card. 

First I masked over my stamped image and then

used the inside of the largest oval to add the 

Mellow Mustard ink.  After that I used the large oval

masking piece and put that down over the inked 

area using pixie spray so it would stay put.  

Then I sponged some Sandy Shores ink all over 

the panel and laid the Woodgrain stencil over the top

of all that.  Next I worked on the wood background and 

sponged a layer of Marvellous Mocha ink through the 

Woodgrain stencil.  I gave it a few minutes to dry

and then added some texture paste over the stencil. To get 

that color several drops of the Rich Rust ink refill was

added to the white texture paste. Loved how it turned out.

This handy guy is going to a family friend for his 

60th birthday.  He loves to create with wood in his

garage and has LOTS of tools.  Perfect for him!

Is it just me or does this make you think of the 

start of the James Bond 007 movies?? LOL.

everything will be released at our LIVE April Release Party 

on Saturday, April 17th @ 2 pm ET in the Krafty Friends group!

Challenge #575 - Use a Stencil (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)

  

Good morning! It's the weekend and time for another fabulous 

and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge 

for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

This week, Krafty Girl Kerri B. is your hostess  

for Challenge #575 and the theme for you is:

USE A STENCIL!

My card today features two Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps 

stencils - the ROYAL Stencil on the background 

(with Rich Rust hybrid ink) and a small patch of

grass created with the Krafty Scenery 2 Stencil.

I've also used one of the absolutely adorable chipboard

elements and some twine from the March Add-On Bundle,

and a sentiment from MY HERO Sentiments (also

stamped w/the Rich Rust ink color).

 The chipboard dragon was first colored with 

a white craft ink and then I added KKS Goblin Green

and Charming Chartreuse inks over that.  Once dried 

I sprayed some Novo Glitter on it and let that dry. Then I stamped

the exact same dragon from the DRAGON FLIGHT 

stamp set over the top of the colored chipboard

(see close up below) and added some Nuvo Dream Drops 

(also included in the March Add-On bundle) 

in Frosted Lake on parts of the dragon for extra texture. 

Lots of steps on this card - but soooo much fun to do!
