Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #524 - PARTY ANIMALS

Happy Saturday all.

How are you doing with these crazy times of the COVID

virus and social distancing?  I hope that you are finding 

something to bring you joy each day and stay positive.  

We at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps are here to help give you a 

crafty distraction with the start of a new weekly challenge 

and a whole weekend of FUN during a 

VIRTUAL KRAFTY RETREAT in the 

Krafty Friends Facebook Group.  If you aren't a 

member of this kind, inspiring and fun group

you're missing out - and we'd love to have you with us! 

So... Let me tell you about the theme for this week.

Challenge #524 is PARTY ANIMALS

I used a super cute NEW stamp set called ZOODLES that is 

just perfect for this theme.  And, the new Party-Time Sentiments 

stamp set has some great birthday sentiments too - I used one of them.
Ohhhh and I don't want to forget the fun Party Dots too.

(while I didn't make it specifically for a kid, it could certainly fit that

I might give it to my nephew, not sure yet who it goes to).

Before I go I want to share an awesome SALE with you

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  This is a great time to get 

some of your favorite stamps, stencils and inks while

you are staying in and taking care of yourself.  

Having new crafty goodies and projects definitely makes the 

days better.  Just think of all the fun you can have while staying in! 

As we continue to navigate this strange world situation, remember

that social distancing is physical not complete distance.  Reach out to your friends 

and family via phone, text and face time.  Check on your 

neighbors, be a source of light and love for someone who is 

feeling scared or overwhelmed.  Be kinder than usual to others and to yourself.

Some days it feels harder and scarier (personal experience).  Lean

on each other and stay positive and thankful.  We WILL make it

through this!  I'm thankful for so many things - and for 

each of you who visit my blog and let me share my creations

with you. This weekend I'm going craft as much as possible and 

participate in the Virtual Krafting Event.  Perhaps you'll be joining us too?

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #523 - Clean and Simple (CAS)

Happy weekend krafty peeps!

It's Saturday and you know what that means!

It's time for another weekly challenge at 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

The theme for Challenge #523 is CAS.

We hope that you'll share what you create with us

using the CAS theme this week.  Each newly created 

and entered project gives you a chance to WIN the 

monthly prize of a $40 gift voucher to the KKS Store! 

You can enter as many times as you want but each entry

must be a NEW creation.  The challenge is open all week. 

Clean and Simple is truly always a challenge for me

as I'm a layer it up and add lots of pattern paper kinda gal.

Products such as the NEW Confetti Stencil make CAS cards so 

much easier to make though.  My card features several of the 

NEW products for March - the stencil, the Party Time Dots, the 

Morning Marigold hybrid ink and the giraffe from ZOODLES.  

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Even though it has some layers, it also has lots of open 

space and very few embellishments. It may not be CAS to 

the technical degree but I think it fits the challenge.   

Did you see that there's a special SALE going on too? 

There are lots of products on SALE in the shop, and there's

no coupon needed - the discounted prices are shown.  

What a great excuse to have some krafty fun during the

topsy turvy Corona Virus situation and social distancing. 

Please excuse me as I don't mean to make light of this

awful and scary time, but I'm an eternal optimist and always 

try to find the positive where I can. The whimsical and fun

KKS stamps and stencils, and pretty inks and dots always make 

me feel happy.  Crafting with KKS is like therapy for me - 

maybe it is for you too.  So why not get it on SALE?!

Day 3 March Release Sneak Peek -Zoodles! And Anything Goes Challenge

Hello peeps!  It's Day 3 of the 

March 2020 New Release for

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

 AND...it's also the start of  a new weekly

challenge.  The theme for Challenge # is 

ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week).
We love to see you use your KKS goodies so please join
in and show us what you've made (new creations only -
no backlinks) with ANY theme, ANY type of project! 

We hope that you've been enjoying the inspiration from the 

krafty team.  Today we have another adorable and FUN stamp

set to show you called ZOODLES by artist Nedra Sadreddin.

Sooooo FUNNNNNN - right???!!

Here's my card to share with you. 
The KKS Stencils such as the NEW Confetti stencil
are so great for making your own custom backgrounds.
That Morning Marigold ink is soooo gorgeous -
it literally changes depending on how much pressure
or layers you use through the stencils.  It ranges from a
subtle yellow to an almost orangey yellow - it's truly
adequately named.  I also used Goblin Green (my
favorite KKS green) as it's the ink of the month (hint...
that means it's on a special price this month only).
Oh! Did you notice those fun Party Dots too? 

This sentiment would be fun for a retirement, moving

or job change event.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #521 - Tag! You're It!

Hello wonderful krafty friends!

Today I get the pleasure of being the hostess 

for the newest weekly challenge at 

KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

The theme for KKS Challenge #521 is to use a tag

(or make a tag) on your creation.  There are so many

ways to use tags.  I know many of you also make tags too

(something I'd really like to do more of). I was messing 

around with making different backgrounds and this 

one just seemed to shout "Outer Space" to me.  

So I used a tag featuring one of the super CUTE

aliens from OUT OF THIS WORLD on it

(he's so furry and fun!).  Love how it turned out!

March Skrappy Challenge - Kraftin' Kimmime Stamps

 Hello! Welcome to March 2020

and this month's new Skrappy Challenge

at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!

For those of you who aren't familiar with this

challenge - it's basically ANYTHING BUT A CARD.

We love to encourage you to stretch your creative muscles

and try new things.  You can make a 3D item, an altered

item, planner pages, a scrapbook page (or pages), a framed

creation, a bookmark, a tag ... I think you probably get the idea.

Just make sure to use a Kraftin' Kimmie product and it

must be a NEW creation.  You can enter several creations.

You have  until April 6th to enter and once we have at least 5 people 

participating Kimmie offers a $20 gift card to the KKS Shop

for one lucky participant!  Whoo Hoo!  

There are so many awesome KKS Products in addition to 

the amazing/high quality stamps such as stencils, enamel

dots and the hybrid inks that work with all mediums.  

I like to make little holiday treats for my team at work.

The LOVE STORY SENTIMENTS were perfect to 

use for small Valentine's Day treats.  Take a look. 

These are heart shaped red tins. 

and I also made some candy treat bags too
