Kraftin' Kimmie - New Release - I {heart} Coffee

Hello sweet friends and welcome to a new month 

of great NEW RELEASES at 

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Today we are showcasing a stamp set you may have already seen.
It's a stamp set for all you coffee lovers around the world.

I knew I HAD to HAVE it as soon as I saw it!!

 The image is from artist Emilie Goulet and it comes
 with THREE witty sentiments!!



I made a sticky note holder for a co-worker 

who is switching jobs soon (sadly) as a  goodbye gift.

The cardstock, beautiful papers (Spring Blossom by Kaisercraft) 

& awesome wood embellishments (as well as the die cut on the back) 

all came out of the limited edition Krafty Coffee Kit that was offered last month.

 If you weren't lucky enough to scoop up one of our fantastic kits - you will 

have the opportunity to scoop up this NEW set called "I {HEART} COFFEE

The paper and awesome coffee embellies will also be available separately in the 

KK Shop right after the LIVE ONLINE RELEASE PARTY!! 

 It will take place on Saturday evening beginning at 6pm EST!!

I've a kraft cardstock base and some papers that have kraft color

as well as a darling stamp from the set called "BOOK PALS"

Since Krafty Girl Tracy's challenge for us this week

at Kraftin' Kimmie is to also decorate the inside of your card

here's what I did using the same papers and putting a sentiment 

from "HELLO FRIENDS" on the inside

Sketch Saturday #355 - Sami Stamps {I LOVE BOOKS}

Happy Saturday all!!

Do you have some fun Easter plans for tomorrow?

How about an Easter egg hunt?  

I really miss having those when our kids were little.

We are planning a nice family dinner. My sister is doing most of
the cooking  so I am a happy camper :o)

Hoping the weather is nice so I can go for a walk but 

I also need to spend some time in my craft room today 

getting ready for the rest of this busy month.

Here's Sketch #355

and here is my card using a sponsor image 
called "I LOVE BOOKS"

This image speaks to me as I too LOVE books. 

It also reminds me of when my daughter was really little

and she would get a big stack of books out of the box and

then sit on them while she read another.  When she was done

she would sit that book down and get up and grab another book 

out from under her bottom and look at that one next.  

I guess it was her way of making sure no-one else took her books

until she was done with them - LOL! 

I know that the rest of my teammates over at
Sketch Saturday have also made some wonderful

I'm a sketchy girl - LOVE to use them as a starting point for my inspiration
and stamp selection.  I stayed pretty close to Sketch #11 - take a look:

This darling little professor and sentiment are from the stamp set
called "Perfect Chemistry". I also used a coordinating die for the
professor and "Whimsy Star Dies". And let's not forget the yummy
cotton candy blue gumdrops too :o)

Just for fun I did the inside too with another stamp and die

Autism Awareness Day - Light it Up Blue Blog Hop

Today is World Autism Awareness Day


and I have made a card to share in the

My life has been touched in two ways by autism -
first by the boy (now young man) that my son has been
working with for several years now, and second by the
way in which I have watched my son interact, teach, care for
and form an amazing bond with this special young man.
I believe that my son has gained as much from this pairing
as the young man he as been working with.

Yesterday, my special Guest Designer term began for Bugaboo Digis

and the Catch the Bug Challenges. So excited!!!

Every Wednesday is Humor Me Wednesday at Catch the Bug Challenges.  

Did you know that this first week of April has 

several giggle-worthy holidays to celebrate?  

April 1st is (of course) "April Fool's Day" and "National Fun (at work) Day".  

April 2nd is "International Children's Book Day"

and....

April 3rd is "Don't Go to Work Unless It's Fun Day" 

Boy I sure wish I would have taken advantage of this holiday sooner - LOL!

Who knew there were so many different holidays?? 

Not me - until yesterday :o)
