Hello friends and followers, so glad you've stopped in to visit me today!
I made this card for the Lacy Sunshine Facebook Fan Group challenge
using the digital image called "Ebony Mer" which I received for free for being
part of the fan group and participating in the challenge.
Take a look please:
Isn't she a lovely image? I got brave and tried something new and a bit out of my
comfort zone on this card - I colored her face blue.
Eek - I gotta tell you, I wasn't sure if it was a good decision or not
at first. But the more I look at it, the more I like it :o)
This is how I always imagined a mermaid would look.
Well, maybe a bit more sparkly - but still as blue.
I also tried frantage but had a bit of a disaster with it.
I think I'll be picking up frontage particles for awhile - quite comical really.
Did manage to get some of the stuff on the card - but it sure wasn't how I planned for it to look.
Guess I'll be googling for you-tube videos on how to use the stuff - lol.
Ahhh... the creative process is somethings not what we expect and yet
we end up with a great project if we just embrace it.
I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:
(I used two dies and one punch on this card)
Thanks so much for visiting me today! Til next time...hugs and happy crafting! D
I like this different type of coloring, it actually works, and since mermaids don't exist in real life no one can argue with you that they don't have blue skin, lol. I made a mess of frantage too the first times I used it. Now I try and heat from the the underside of the paper until the powder has started to melt a bit, makes it easier to keep it in place.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, love the color.. Thanks for joining at Lacy unshine Dies and/or Punches
